Luntz schmaltz, with the clear intent of steering voters toward Obama. All is well in flyover country, apparently. They can reassure themselves that the wicked witch is being effectively opposed.

Never mind the fact that the reasons they have transferred their hatred to Hillary are almost all from CFR-based policies that both Obama and Huckabee support, such as NAFTA and UN-dominated strategic policies.

John Edwards is apparently a CFR member with a cfr.org bio page, position papers, and speeches on the CFR record. He supports foreign aid: "Edwards said that he would make U.S. financial assistance contingent on democratic development. Edwards’ plan also includes the creation of a State Department “Freedom List” of political prisoners." (CFR bio link).

He has several collectvist stances: "Edwards has outlined an ambitious agenda to eliminate poverty within a generation." (From his "Issues" page.)

From the same source, Edwards wants to strengthen Homeland Security. He voted for the Patriot Act, indicating his lack of foresight and clarity on domestic civil rights. (Funny Frank Luntz quote about car salesmen at that link.)

John Edwards is a moderate gun grabber who couldn't be trusted to appoint constitutional, sovereignty-supporting federal and supreme court judges.

John Edwards claims to oppose NAFTA/CAFTA which is his one bright spot. It leaves me wondering if he's serious, though, since he favors America's membership in the UN.
