Join the Ron Paul Revolution Yes, I've even posted about it. I actively track legislation. I have a web site set up for tracking California Legislation and I carry some national bills there as well. Not many here seem interested in legislation though.
There have been other articles on this. I'm trying to dig them up.
It's not that at all, imo. We are just overwhelmed with everything that's going on in our world. At least, I am.

HR2640 S2084 has gone nowhere.
Can't imagine that collection of scumbags would interfere with its swift passage to the decider's desk ... any idea what's keeping it in the Senate ?

I'm guessing they decided the House bill was better. There is often more than one bill but only one will move. I didn't look to see what the difference between the two was.
And then it "graciously" allows these newly disarmed Americans to spend tens of thousands of dollars for a long-shot chance to regain the gun rights this very bill takes away from them. From GOA site. A lot of folks need to hang for this.

It's horrendous and goes so far as to say that if one has had a restraining order put into effect against them (or if a spouse has claimed to fear the other), and Jack didn't mention any sort of conviction being necessary. I believe he may have been reading from some of the GOA info on the bill.

Why Congress is full of attorneys: So they can make the fucked up laws that they and their brethren profit from in their law practices with OUR money! Shall we call the justice (sic) system (cops judges and lawyers and prisons) "LegalInc?"

It looks to me as if there was a compromise; it was voted on with no recorded vote, and was sent to Herr Bush...no? What the bill does is to lock in -- statutorily -- huge numbers of additional law-abiding Americans who will now be denied the right to own a firearm.
