Don't let the Sibel Edmonds story SUCKER you ...

By ladybroadoak

THE REAL headline to this story should read:

State Dept released 911 suspects at the request of targets of the FBI's investigation. State Dept released 911 suspects at the request of targets of the FBI's investigation - as revealed by Sibel Edmonds.

And why did THAT happen? To cover up "state secrets" showing how the US, the Saudis, Isreal and Pakistan were all involved in further nuclear proliferation.

Finally, at long last, we are hearing Sibel Edmonds speaking her TRUTH.

Long awaited, a Rupert Murdoch-owned UK daily, the Times, has printed an astonishingly long piece, front page, on what her long gagged information actually IS. To make a very long and detailed story into an executive summary:

Sibel Edmonds was an FBI translator who came to know that Pakistan's Dr. AQ Khan had set up a very nasty black market in nuclear weapons. She was aghast at the lax (and troubling) method of hiring translators who were not just transcriping tapes, but also at the way these translators were, or were NOT hired. It lead to her being able to see how evidence of an impending attack on the United States, specifically on a large office complex in the US would be attacked by airplanes(www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0402-01.htm) was being ignored and the evidence of that being covered up. The story on what was happening has been covered on BBC's panorama and can be viewed here. I recommend starting your viewing at the 4:40 minute mark. A brief written article about this Panorama special can be viewed here.

Edmonds also claims that "moles," mainly PhD students, received assistance from a "high-ranking State Department official" who gave them security clearance to work in "sensitive nuclear research facilities."

Further, Sibel worked on translating tapes of those who were queried and investigated AFTER 9/11 .. she was able to identify, This led her to look very closely at the role of Pakistan, Israel and the Saudis in terms of control of the Middle East with the specific cooperation of the US Department of State. While today's Times' article does not specify Mark Grossman, No. 3 in the State Department, this is already widely known to be the man who handled the transactions and the flight from the US of the 9/11 hijackers.

We are at last being given a bone to chew on. The establisment is letting us have our "SECRETS EXPOSED" meme for 2008. But there is an inherent danger: because this one covers some VERY IMPORTANT ground - nuclear arms proliferation, government coverup and lack of transparency, 9/11 truth, reprisals towards those who don't "toe" the government line during any administration involved . we are apt to lose sight of something very important. IMPEACHMENT.

Sibel Edmonds is a US Whistleblower, BUT her story has not been told in the US press and that my friends, is why I am writing this to sound a warning to you all -- dont' get suckered, keep working for impeachment and the removal of Nancy Pelosi, who knows this story backwards and forwards, as PELOSI was on the intelligence committee that has buried it!! So has Henry Waxman, who said he was for hearings, but now as Chairman does nothing to see that they happen. Are they blackmailed?

Impeachment is the ONLY way to find out. The rest of the world is not going to be amused to read the whole story of the US assisting nuclear proliferation whilst NOT follwing the Geneva accords .. and as I am constantly pointing out, IF the US does not follow these agreements, it is legally permissable for another nation to attack the United States - and that includes with nuclear materials.

With impeachment proceedings, we could have subpoenas with TEETH, since nothing else has worked to expose how all these George HW BuZh players were just waiting in the wings to occupy their new positions when Dubya came into power!! Cyncial? You bet. These guys are truly evil, more evil than anything our normal minds can imagine.

Wide dissemination of this story needs to be a first priority, not because it is sensational and stunning (which it most definitely is and worthy of any great espionage novelist) - but because this will definitely show how nuclear proliferation is one of the greatest war crimes that has been going on .. and paid for with the taxpayer's DIME, to boot. Possible avenues for LEANING ON THE US MEDIA include, at this point, appeals to Keith Olbermann, John Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Amy Goodman has already done some fine work on US officials making money engaged in the NEXT generation of US Politico nuclear energy profiteers engaged in the Presidential race, but this might not give us truth seekers wide enough coverage to get the entire nation to see what has happened and what is at stake if the truth is not told in its entirety.

It is time to get on your phones and ask your representatives WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO, I mean actually DO, to have, finally, Congressional hearings on this important revelation?? Henry Waxman has stalled and stalled on this issue - it's time to "get heavy" with CONgress on this. We are talking TREASON here . plain and simple.

Obviously as the US seems to be preparing to send troops to Pakistan (US special ops going in is already in the news) .. the fact that we allowed them to be armed with nukes is of high interest in today's news market place. This actually goes all the way back to REAGAN, and is reflected in the Solarz Amendment .. so more criminal act are hinted at.

POINT: This is a huge, Byzantine plot that is totally bipartisan and getting appropriate help in the US Congress is not going to be an easy job .. Just look at the coverup over Barksdale and our own (US) mess in handling nukes and then transfer all that happened into a Pakistani context. [As a sidenote, at Fargo, they STILL don't have enough regulations in place to pass an inspection which has been postponed indefinitely ...) It would seem that the lack of oversight that Sibel has pointed out left a hole that lead to the ISI stranglehold in Pakistan, which many contend lead to the death of Benazir Bhutto. Whatever your feelings about Benazir are, and I have plenty myself, she was ASSASSINATED over this coverup ...

For those new to the Sibel Edmonds story (which is nearly of MYTHIC proportions!), there is a lot of ground to cover now. There are websites to visit, comments to read, and a HUGE plot that stretches over many years to unravel. There is the feeling of pride in Sibel's struggle to process internally as well as a feeling of relief that certain bloggers have never given up on trying to get the story out there. A special THANK YOU and appreciation for LUKERY's blog has developed over the years at WOTISITGOOD4 dot blogspot dot com.

Questions to be answered:

Will Sibel finally getting onto the mainstream news record put her at further risk??

Can a Special Prosecutor be found to investigate her claims - who is not already seriously compromised ? Henry Waxman, who would be the logical choice to head up hearings cannot be relied on; there are three guesses as to WHY This is .. he is being blackmailed, Nancy Pelosi won't let him, he is too close to AIPEC and the Israeli lobby and it's officials to allow it.

Why were US business interests put above the interests of the US Citizen when it came to FBI/counterintelligence/counterterrorism translations and investigations pursued??

How do we get more media coverage over the coming weeks?

How does this all relate to Plamegate and Brewster Jennings?? Valerie Plame was tracking AQ Khan -- and how do we get this in as part of an impeachment and war crimes tribunal process!!

Was Pakistan's nuclear force built up as a way to secure Afghani land to grow poppies for the US drug-dealing syndicates? Or just a diabolical Israeli plan to carve up the Middle East and benefit from Balkanization of the 'stans??

Are there in fact two sets of standards when it comes to getting security clearance in the United States??

How is Iran going to react to this news? Afterall, it's not okay for them to have nukes .. but it IS okay for Israel to facilitate an ARAB nation getting nukes. Iran is NOT arab .. and has been patient with Israel and the United States despite EXTREME provocation ...

Were the FISA-court approved wiretaps aimed at high level officials who just might spill the beans .. as has been alleged??

and Lukery published this this evening:

Over at Sibel's website, she has published "Sibel Edmonds' State Secrets Privilege Gallery" - twenty one photos of people.

Sibel doesn't say anything about the photos - or the people in the photos - but we can reasonably presume that they are the 21 guilty people in her case.

Sibel has broken the photos into three different groups.

The first group contains current and former Pentagon and State Department officials. The second group is current and former congressmen. The 3rd group includes people who all appear to work at think tanks - primarily WINEP, The Washington Institute for Near East Policy

I have placed tons of information and videos at both my blogs as well, ladybroadoak and stop the radiation!

it is baffling why things happen the way they do. Wise people with experience watching things become very skeptical.

but it is known beyond a shadow of a doubt that the US has engaged in nuclear proliferation because of the events of the 1990's when the US helped both China & N. Korea with nuclear issues. Remember, the US placed Chinese citizen Wen Ho Lee in charge of archiving all nuclear know-how for the US government and gave Lee every opportunity to e-mail these secrets to china which he apparently did according to evidence developed by the FBI. and let's also remember that the US paid for the construction of nuclear power plants in n. Korea. so, if the US really did help Pakistan (& others) get nuclear know-how it would be entirely consistent.

When part of the truth is allowed to be revealed, I always try and figure what is being suppressed or diverted. Is a larger more damning piece of information looming? Are the real perps of 911, not BUSH/CHENEY, in danger of being exposed by a rogue whistleblower that didn't receive a large enough payoff?

If America is destroyed, it may be by Americans who salute the flag, sing the national anthem, march in patriotic parades, cheer Fourth of July speakers - normally good Americans who fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free - Americans who have been lulled into a false security (April 1968).---Ezra Taft Benson, US Secretary of Agriculture 1953-1961 under Eisenhower

Excellent look back. It's one of the major reasons we all despised Clinton.

I am wondering if Edmond's story to the Times is controlled damage in some way. IOW, the real story is actually far worse.

I asked this yesterday - Why did Sibel Edmonds tell her story to Rupert Murdoch's newspaper? And why did he publish it?

From the start I highly suspected she was a plant. When I saw a video of her talking to someone else about what was going on I didn't doubt for a second she was a plant. She acted like she didn't have a care in the world even though she supposedly KNEW information that could get her killed if she told the story which she was threatening to do. She seemed to be a dimwit to me that was clearly out of her league. She was trying to act scared but she totally sucked at it. She clearly wasn't scared of anything. That's when I knew she was a plant. Her talking about AlQueda trying to get nuclear weapons confirmed my suspicions. Telling the story to the guy that censors Ron Paul from his presidential forum and having him print it is just more proof. When someone seems to be not what they profess to be then it is likely that they aren't.

She's not a nuclear physicist, nor is she in charge overseeing all the intelligence organizations. She thus has no solid tools to reliably distinguish between a crime, a disinfo session or a sting.

I would not call her a plant. Check out the posts above, I think it is what is not being said; controlling the damage. They've had time to get all their ducks in row for this one.

I don't think it takes a nuklar physicist to recognize treason. Consider what happened to Valerie Plame, her team was tracking WMDs in the ME.

It's basically all hear-say, what she has. She's seemingly conveying the content of wiretaps which may or may not have been illegal wiretaps. To give her credibility in that effort is perhaps to give the government credibility in an effort to wiretap people indiscriminately, or it could at least be taken that way.

I am sure the powers that be would like us to believe that she is a plant and that her story is not to be believed.

It's not just hearsay that the government relied on the state secrets privilege to shut her up, and that a trial judge and three judges on an appeals panel bought their arguments. It's not hearsay that Sen. Grassley said he found Sibel Edmonds credible. And it's not hearsay that the mainstream media in this country have sedulously ignored what she has to say.

It appears that the PTB are trying to incrementally enrage a sector of the public that maintain awareness of what's going on.

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money ." --- Josiah Stamp

That's true and it revealed some of the behind the scenes maneuvers, but nothing really happened to anyone. It raised awareness.

In this case, I'm guessing Sibel has been allowed to say enough to raise eyebrows and shake heads, but not enough to bring anyone down.

The difference is this they knew this woman was threating to talk yet did nothing to stop her. From what I observed of her she was not afraid of them in the least. People who knew real top secrets and were threatening to talk would have been killed pronto just as a real 9/11 researcher was in Minnesota.

Did it stop her?

There were complaints for years on Daily Kos about how she wouldn't spell out her story after the gag order was issued.

The fact that she's talking now -- and that a major foreign newspaper is publishing her story -- may reflect the extent to which the Bush/Cheney regime has lost the power to intimidate.

Those who doubt Sibel Edmonds's story might profit from reading BRAD BLOG's page on the London Times story.

Among those mentioned in BRAD BLOG as treating with respect Edmonds's account are: Daniel Ellsberg, Larry Johnson, and Justin Raimondo.

Edmonds is a member of an association of intelligence whistleblowers that includes such people as Valerie Plame and Ray McGovern.

Interesting thing is we supposedly have a government official responding to accusations of meeting with foreign agents to pass nuke info and subsequent payment, with the response merely suggesting he did not keep the money himself.

The most likely, literal and on-the-level-presumptive construction here is that the money would be taken and passed to other officials who had set up a sting with his co-operation. This is a topic these officials would probably be pledged to silence on. So, we would have Sibel wrongly persecuting some official "jesus" hero of sorts to the glorious NWO, in this instance. Meanwhile we really have no idea what sort of official scoundrelry is actually escaping view at this point. If it was a legitimate sting, there has to be a conclusion hanging somewhere, but one can only guess at the timeframe, or indeed whether the other shoe on it has fallen or been discarded, legitimately or illegitmately. This story may be recycling an illegitimate old shoe into an illegitimate new shoe. It could be the other shoe dropping.

By high profile, I mean she was in the public eye. Her death would be considered very suspicious. Foster was a close friend of the Clintons, not a known whistleblower.

Vincent Foster was more than just a friend of the Clintons. He was Deputy White House Counsel. He never got a chance to be a whistle blower becasue he was killed before that could happen. Just as Sibel would have been if she really had info that could put the criminals behind bars. The fact that she came forward would not have protected her. She would have been killed anyway before she had a chance to talk. She wasn't because she is being used, either knowingly or unknowingly to spread propaganda. I think she is in on it myself.

God is always good!
