Title: New Hampshire Turnout 'Absolutely Huge', Running Out Of Democratic Ballots...

ABC News' Karen Travers Reports: New Hampshire Deputy Secretary of State Dave Scanlan told ABC News that turnout among primary voters today is "absolutely huge" -- and there are concerns about running out of ballots in towns like Portsmouth, Keene, Hudson and Pelham.

"Turnout is absolutely huge and towns are starting to get concerned that they may not have enough ballots," Scanlan said. "We are working on those issues. Everything else seems to be going smoothly."

Scanlan said that the Secretary of State's office is sending additional ballots to Portsmouth and Keene (traditionally Democratic strongholds), Hudson (Republican leaning with significant numbers of independents) and Pelham (large number of independents).

According to Scanlan, the ballot strain seems to be on Democratic ballots, which suggests that the undeclared voters are breaking for the Democratic primary. New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner predicted that 90,000 undeclared voters would vote in the Democratic primary compared to 60,000 voting in the Republican primary.

Deputy Secretary Scanlan said based on a formula anticipating higher turnout, they printed additional ballots, but in most cases towns will go "right down to the wire with ballots they need." The extra ballots will be insurance ballots in most places so election officials have a comfort level.

Scanlan said reports from polling places show that turnout has been steady and high though the morning but typically high activity periods will be lunch and after work.

I think, although no one can openly say it (except that I will), the GOPers would not mind at all running against Obama. He starts with a deficit of at least 200 to 250 electoral votes in our "color-blind" < /sarcasm> society.

Edwards is the only candidate I would fear, if I were a GOPer.

I agree.

I also have doubts weather Obama will make it to the General Election...one way or the other, the clintons will try to stop him.

From RP forums:

"I'm working here in Ron Paul HQ in Concord and we've been getting reports that Hillary's lawyers are kicking poll workers out of various precincts across the state since this morning. They're kicking out Obama and Ron Paul poll workers, and possibly others.

Poll workers are there to confirm that known supporters are attending. It's part of the GOTV process, and Hillary is using strong-arm tactics to limit our (and Obama's) ability to conduct this! Even if the poll workers are allowed back in, the damage is done because we lose track of who has entered the polls.

Fergus Collins (the NH GOP chairman) is writing a letter to make sure poll captains know they have a RIGHT to be there. If some lawyer tells you to leave the poll, stand your ground!

A Campaign worker here in Concord also want the media to know about this. Hopefully I'll get more details soon."

The smell of desperation.

It won't help her though. The undecided appear to voting for Obama.

It's over on the Demo side...the margin of Obama's victory is the only question.

Believe it or not, early last summer, I said I thought it would be an Obama/Edwards ticket. I then change my mind because of the media/corp push of Hitlery, even though, I never met, talked or ran into anyone that said they would support her in anyway.

On the Repuke front, I thought Gouliani or Thompson would be the choice, man I was way off so far on these picks.

You have to think of it as a PsyOp - the controllers/Rothschilds-Rockefellers know that there are a lot of us becoming wise to the game so they are playing misdirection to try and keep us confused and guessing. They have Psychiatrists running the program who use the manipulative techniques developed over the last 80 to 90 years - Google/Search on "Bernays" and you'll get a good introduction.

Deciphering the manipulation now requires taking that into account. So, there are going to be feints and fakes to keep us wondering and to create the illusion that the outcome was not predetermined.

I think now that Hucksterbee may be the annointed for the R's and I am still not certain that Hitlery has been ruled out, but Obama comes from the kind of broken background that makes him susceptible to Pscychiatric manipulation. So, I think either Hitlery or Obama is acceptable to the elites, but Hitlery has such high negatives that they have to steal a lot of votes to make her Queen.

Man you nailed that. Obama upstairs is about as mature as a 16 year old. Think they know everything; know nothing. Have no unshakable character/moral set. Still trying to "find themselves." Excellent acting skills, but nothing to back it up. Easily manipulated. NOT someone you want with a finger on the football.

Personally, I'd rather Bill Klinton be in the WH than Obama. Hell, I'd rather see Bill Klinton in the WH than the likes of a lunatic like Huckabee! [Notice I said Bill, not Hill]

The only palatable candidate will not win. IT has been decided. We do not have a say in the matter. Even if one doesn't believe in conspiracies, the amercun sheople are too damned stupid to do the right thing anyway.

We've been here before: Goldwater, Buchanan, Perot...and it goes on.

Read his own words in his own book. You can't comment unless you have and it's obvious you haven't. You're like a student trying to interrupt a lecture with questions that were answered in last night's reading assignment.

I've read only the most derogatory excerpts, but thanks be to God, I'm still sleeping on top of my bed and not under it.

If you're so terrified of Barack, get out and vote for Hillary.
