Title: New Hampshire Turnout 'Absolutely Huge', Running Out Of Democratic Ballots...

ABC News' Karen Travers Reports: New Hampshire Deputy Secretary of State Dave Scanlan told ABC News that turnout among primary voters today is "absolutely huge" -- and there are concerns about running out of ballots in towns like Portsmouth, Keene, Hudson and Pelham.

"Turnout is absolutely huge and towns are starting to get concerned that they may not have enough ballots," Scanlan said. "We are working on those issues. Everything else seems to be going smoothly."

Scanlan said that the Secretary of State's office is sending additional ballots to Portsmouth and Keene (traditionally Democratic strongholds), Hudson (Republican leaning with significant numbers of independents) and Pelham (large number of independents).

According to Scanlan, the ballot strain seems to be on Democratic ballots, which suggests that the undeclared voters are breaking for the Democratic primary. New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner predicted that 90,000 undeclared voters would vote in the Democratic primary compared to 60,000 voting in the Republican primary.

Deputy Secretary Scanlan said based on a formula anticipating higher turnout, they printed additional ballots, but in most cases towns will go "right down to the wire with ballots they need." The extra ballots will be insurance ballots in most places so election officials have a comfort level.

Scanlan said reports from polling places show that turnout has been steady and high though the morning but typically high activity periods will be lunch and after work.

Believe it or not, early last summer, I said I thought it would be an Obama/Edwards ticket. I then change my mind because of the media/corp push of Hitlery, even though, I never met, talked or ran into anyone that said they would support her in anyway.

On the Repuke front, I thought Gouliani or Thompson would be the choice, man I was way off so far on these picks.

You have to think of it as a PsyOp - the controllers/Rothschilds-Rockefellers know that there are a lot of us becoming wise to the game so they are playing misdirection to try and keep us confused and guessing. They have Psychiatrists running the program who use the manipulative techniques developed over the last 80 to 90 years - Google/Search on "Bernays" and you'll get a good introduction.

Deciphering the manipulation now requires taking that into account. So, there are going to be feints and fakes to keep us wondering and to create the illusion that the outcome was not predetermined.

I think now that Hucksterbee may be the annointed for the R's and I am still not certain that Hitlery has been ruled out, but Obama comes from the kind of broken background that makes him susceptible to Pscychiatric manipulation. So, I think either Hitlery or Obama is acceptable to the elites, but Hitlery has such high negatives that they have to steal a lot of votes to make her Queen.

I agree with ya. The Hag has so much baggage. Obama isn't going to change a thing. The Huckster has some heavy CFR backing, I think Haas is involved with him.

The bottom line is, the fraud continues.

Obama comes from the kind of broken background that makes him susceptible to Pscychiatric manipulation.

Man you nailed that. Obama upstairs is about as mature as a 16 year old. Think they know everything; know nothing. Have no unshakable character/moral set. Still trying to "find themselves." Excellent acting skills, but nothing to back it up. Easily manipulated. NOT someone you want with a finger on the football.

Personally, I'd rather Bill Klinton be in the WH than Obama. Hell, I'd rather see Bill Klinton in the WH than the likes of a lunatic like Huckabee! [Notice I said Bill, not Hill]

I never expected Ron Paul to win. That would simply have been a bonus, and the game is not yet over.

What is occurring is that more people are waking up to our precarious predicament.

This is a process and it is moving along. Whether it is going fast enough we do not yet know. I think the tide is slowing - whether it is yet beginning to turn I cannot tell.

That caught my eye too. If you wanted to siphon off votes from a Republican Candidate, oh, say, Ron Paul, and wanted to make it less obvious then you could, in a State like New Hampshire that allows Independents to vote either way, shift those votes to the Democrat Candidates and say "they voted Democrat". Of course I expect fraud as they do it whenever they need to throw the election to one candidate or another. My guess would be that Hitlery will be the beneficiary of "the surge".

You're probably right.

On the Dem side of this, I think this 'show' may be intended to keep the Dems on the Dem plantation. It doesn't really matter which one. If they are engaged in their own 'party' politics, the less they might be exposed to RP's message.

COUNT, RECOUNT

Democrat Barack Obama has a 90 percent chance of winning the New Hampshire primary election, say online traders with Intrade. Among Republicans, John McCain leads with an 83 percent chance of winning today.

DID YOU KNOW?

For more than three decades, every presidential candidate of either party who won both Iowa and New Hampshire has gone on to win his party's nomination.

That isn't going to hold true on the Republican side...

It isn't going to be disproved either. Because the person who won the Iowa caucuses on the R side is undoubtedly not going to win the NH primary.

If Huckabee did by some fluke win the NH primary, I think he probably would end up getting the nomination.

As it is, even granted the probability that he's coming in third at best in NH, I wouldn't rule out his chances of being nominated.

It doesn't look good. I wonder how long Paul can stay in. It looks like a heinz57 where the GOP may have 3 candidates very close for quite awhile.

I think when this shakes down, Paul will have more say on certain things in congress. Some of the bills he will bring up, may have more favor with the DEM majority that congress will be.

SKY News (UK) Just Announced Exit Poll Numbers (12+ / 0-)

I'm watching the NH election results from the UK (Edinburgh) this evening -- streaming MSNBC and watching SKY News. Sky News just lead their midnight coverage with Exit Poll results of the NH Primary. According the Sky News, the exit polls are as follows:

Democrats:

Obama 41; Clinton 29; Edwards 16

Republicans:

McCain 33.5; Romney 32.5; Huckabee 12

by CDinBoston on Tue Jan 08, 2008 at 04:08:07 PM PST

Reported on Daily Kos thread.

If these figures are accurate, I think it means Ron Paul has a fourth-place finish at best.

These are the actual exit numbers going around.

It bears repeating:

Obama 41
Clinton 37
Edwards 15

McCain 36
Romney 30
Huckabee 13
Paul 11
Giuliani 8.5

Did Chris Matthews see these numbers?

by diplomatic on Tue Jan 08, 2008 at 04:22:21 PM PST

Oops! It appears those earlier numbers on SKY News were an average of the pre- primary polling.

Now there are these new exit poll numbers on the same Daily Kos thread.

Hillary doing much better, very small Obama lead.

Ron Paul in fourth place. He could even still pull out third place, I suppose.
