Besides which some states have semi-automatic weapons restrictive statutes on the books and ditto for concealed carry restrictions:
I'd be worried about a NATIONAL ban where they'd try to actually carry out house to house raids on ALL gun owners that have their purchases recorded, or their gun ownership known by the government. If it's incremental, and they pull a few more Virginia Tech's and Columbine's, then the sheeple will be on their side.

I hate it when I'm right about something that is a disgusting outcome.
The Bastards would not even let Ron Paul come in 3rd. They had to elevate Hucksterbee and Ghouliani over him.
There is no way this is an honest count.
Also as I predicted "Hillary wins by a 'narrow' margin" and then amid a great resurgence in support will march "triumphantly" into the Democonned Convention where she will be officially annointed as Queen.
"The difference between an honorable man and a moral man is that an honorable man regrets a discreditable act even when it has worked and he is in no danger of being caught." ~ H. L. Mencken
(TwentyTwelve) The whole world is watching to see what Americans are going to do about it.
I don't know I think the Ron Paul supporters in New Hampshire may want to look closely at the election results fraud can be detected if it is looked for..
all I can think to do is pray for honest results in as many States as possible in the Primaries coming up Pennsylvania has totally corrupt government, so I am not expecting honesty there..
well we knew from the get-go we would be up against a lot I guess we were naive about New Hampshire, because of all that "live free or die" stuff
I don't think we should give up I think we should strengthen our resolve let them throw everything at us they can, we will prevail anyway Love, Palo

The way I see it, we are just in for more of the same. Nothing worse. And there is little I can do to change it. So I am just going to lay low and save up what I need to live. I've been getting ready for the past year. It will, however, be fun watching the heads explode over on FreeRepublic the morning after the election.
I'm not buying this "fishy" business. Older people from the north may simply not like Ron Paul's anti-New Deal stance, or his "bring all the troops home" message. This should not surprise us too much. The media's dislike for Ron Paul is easily all it takes to keep him from getting elected, since we literally learn all we know about candidates through media sources. They vary some, but 90% have either ignored Ron Paul or have shown massive prejudice against him.
The real conspiracy here is in control of the media, and control over education. Pro-government state-funded education is an impact on these people that can last for a lifetime. We're a unique bunch for liking Ron Paul. We are trying to change minds through our own medium, but it's still not the primary source of news for every major voting bloc.
Don't give up yet, though. Ron Paul can taste victory. He will have his chance yet to reach through the cobwebs of prejudice and ignorance. We're going to have to help him offline, though.
An MSNBC exit poll follows. I include a highlight on Ron Paul supporters lower gun ownership in order to show that McCain voters are actually more traditional in some ways. Some Ron Paul voters are clearly just voting to stop the war in Iraq, and are greens or pacifists. This is GOOD. I welcome anyone's support for Ron Paul, left or right. But you can see that McCain speaks to traditional people (I've witnessed this myself, although I get hoarse trying to prove them wrong).
Do you or does someone else in your household own a gun?

it's possible Huckabee got those votes
It's also possible that the Moon is made of Green Cheese.
Palo, you are a dear but the Iowa Ca-Ca-us was as crooked as a 3 dollar bill. The results were taken into a back room, and then after a couple hours delay as the results were slowly cooked, they were announced. They were not true results but they were the ones the crooks can make stand.
There are already reports coming out from Iowans who voted for Ron Paul calling foul.
The same holds true for New Hampshire. You can bet that there will be a big divergence between the Paper Ballots/Hand Counted Precincts and the Diebold Machine Made results.

One advantage of the Mosin is that you can hit someone over the head with it and do some damage. An AR-16 is a wiffle bat at close quarters.
I'm not too worried about Special Forces airborning onto my property, not much I could do about in any case.
The more I think about the more I think a .22 rifle is my best bet. If any clubbing needs doing I'll use 1/2" breaker bar.

Uh huh, whatever...
I'm suggesting to you that an Obama presidency would more likely target middle class wallets than any semi-automatic weapons which professional middle class households are not very likely to own anyways.
I think he would actually have a chance as an independent. It's too bad he isn't considering this.
It is time that he gives it serious consideration.
Fact of the matter is, RP will never get the GOP nomination for President.
Indeed. I was criticized for posting a thread a couple of weeks before Iowa suggesting this and for posting on threads long before that one, stating that the ONLY way RP could compete for the US presidency is by running AGAINST the 2 parties not from inside a party that can barely tolerate him. Now, after losing 3 out of three, maybe RP will consider this even though, after losing 3 GOP state contests, he has now the reputation of a loser and he will be identified by the MSM as a sore GOP loser so he can't win as an Indie any longer.
A .22LR or even a .22 magnum won't achieve your objective.
Six or seven good shots wouldn't stop your average punk criminal? Life isn't a Bronson movie, very few of them will be hopped up on PCP.

And every GOP that voted for him should do like I'm going to do and walk away from the party. I intend on joining the Constitution Party though Libertarian is more consistent with my ideals.
Thank you.
There were a number of suggestions at this site, suggesting that this nation can be saved by people actually joining the GOP party and change that abomination from within. What an abominable idea.

Your logic is impeccable as usual but Rasmussen gave Ron Paul 14 percent in the polling and Rasmussen has never been wrong before that is why I smell a rat
but your post is valuable, because it shows me where my emphasis should be to just put New Hampshire behind me, and concentrate on winning the other States I just don't want New Hampshire voters to be damned for their dismal vote for Ron Paul, if in fact their votes were not counted
But I am willing to put New Hampshire behind me after reading your post you did good Buckeye Love, Palo
There is a sad lack of name recognition. I speak to so many people that have NEVER heard of Ron Paul that you wonder where they have been living.
Well I agree with you to a point, but older New Dealers will not like his message, when they do hear it. It didn't take election fraud to deliver NH to Clinton and McCain.
Voter recognition and voter acceptance of Ron Paul's message needs to happen offline now.
We've tried to make our point online here that the campaign should simplify and use traditional advertising. Whole markets may be closed to his message at any price. To give you an idea how expensive premium advertising is, $20 million is pocket change.
Think about that. It takes billions to make the minds of Americans change. And there are billions being spent in overt and tacit, long-haul ways, to elect other candidates to protect the status quo.
(buckeye) Don't give up yet, though. Ron Paul can taste victory. He will have his chance yet to reach through the cobwebs of prejudice and ignorance. We're going to have to help him offline, though.
Good post! No I won't give up It toughened my resolve We will have Ron Paul in our White House this time next year Love, Palo

The Freeptards are going to have a collective seizure. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of quislings.
It will be interesting to watch and see which Republocrat will be chosen to lose to Hitlery.
It is getting close to where I start advocating people taking to the streets. The only other option is start adjusting and getting ready for a slave's collar.
I suspect that these results were chosen so as to deliver a psychic blow to the Ron Paul forces to demoralize them. It did not work here. It just made me more determined to fight back.

If Ron is only getting 10% of the R votes in an open primary, what's that say about his chances in winning as an independent?
Not good, I'd say.
A lot of people have woken up to liberty with Ron Paul's campaign.
As Janis Joplin once concluded, "freedom is just another word for nothing left to loser". The consumers can't achieve the blessed state of freedom while attaching themselves to a political party. RP received 8% of the Indies who compromised their principles and came to vote in a Demo-GOP primary. It's hard to tell how many Indies RP would have had on his side if he ran as an Indie, opposing Hillary and Rudy and, sadly, we will never know. However, we do know and we should have known a long, long time ago that RP was going to carry ZERO states in a GOP contest for nomination.
to just put New Hampshire behind me, and concentrate on winning the other States
To win, palo dear, you will have to make your online activities reach people who are living an offline existence. You know what I mean. But you can do this with your telephone and your personal charm. Note that this must have worked in the case of the NH GOP office, because they stood up for freedom.
Call people, palo. Even people you don't know. Call people in the media and political party officials, though.
Also as I predicted "Hillary wins by a 'narrow' margin" and then amid a great resurgence in support will march "triumphantly" into the Democonned Convention where she will be officially annointed as Queen.
Heil Hillary! Heil Hillary!! Heil Hillary!!!

That's a mistake, and it's a mistake to call the NH results significantly impacted by any fraud. We didn't step away from our keyboards often enough to change offline minds.
Au contraire, my friend. I suggested that the ONLY FIGHTING CHANCE RP had was to compete AGAINST the 2 parties. That was a call to fight and, indeed, it was very different from the schemes discussed by various RP supporters, involving RP's ability to somehow hijack the party of war and torture and get himself nominated for president by that party.
The criminals in charge are absolutely predictable. The real problem we face is not deciphering what they are up to as that is not terribly difficult. The problem is convincing the Sheep that they are going to be first enslaved and then murdered in large numbers. The just don't get it. The Freeptards will placidly load up the Cattle Cars so that they can go get their Pony.
I am disgusted at this point.
I'll feel better tomorrow, but the hour is getting late.
I'll go out like a Roman Candle before I allow myself to be sent quietly to be butchered.

You have to make it a good show to sell the Rubes.
All of the big money is backing Hitlery. She has something like 100 million in "donations".
Ron Paul is the only Republican that can win in the General (s)Election and so must be marginalized to allow a Hitlery "win".
Hitlery will win in NH and win big on "Super Tuesday".
Thus garnering a "magical" come from behind win to "catapult" into an "insurmountable" lead.
You nailed it. The Obama "surge" is all for show to convince the rubes that Hillary is in the "fight of her life" and that she must work hard to overcome a deficit to gain the nomination.
LOL. And the show goes on...
