I guess the votes are being taken by TEXT VOTING from cell phones only. I don't have the faintest idea how to TEXT a vote. But for those who do, those are the numbers to use to punch in a vote for Ron Paul. :}

another impresson I had (again visually) I don't know why everyone is mad at FOX about this debate of course I didn't hear a lot of the questions that's why I am so grateful to all of your posts which let me know how Ron answered the questions I did hear Carl ask him about the truthers I also heard Carl ask Huckabee about his position wife submit to husband at all times

Ron Paul wins GOP Debate Larry Fester Published 01/10/2008 - 10:58 p.m. EST Analysis- Republican Congressman Ron Paul won the GOP debate. Fox News apparently feeling pressure after censoring Ron Paul from the last GOP forum two days prior to the New Hampshire primary, included Paul in tonight’s debate. Paul was actually given equal time to speak and he embarrassed his opponents on foreign policy, especially John McCain who had said prior to the debate that he would not mind keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 100 years. Paul pointed out that the U.S. can’t afford the Iraq war and is borrowing from China to finance it. Paul was also the only candidate to recognize that the U.S. is already in a recession that could get much worse. He also said that the real estate market was already in a depression. Paul spoke about monetary policy as the cause of the recession. His opponents did not seem too familiar with the topic. On fiscal Conservatism Paul shined as well. His defense of the Constitution and Civil Liberties was also passionate. The audience was also very receptive to Paul’s views applauding often, including foreign policy issues, which seemed to irritate the moderators. Fox then presented a less than credible focus group that had almost all participants claiming Paul was the loser. Gauging the actual crowd applause, Paul was the winner, although it remains to be seen if that will translate into a victory in the state. Fred Thompson, Mike Huckabee, and the Republican delegate leader, Mitt Romney all performed well. Giuliani was a little redundant McCain was the big loser. He came off a little unhinged. Paul just made his opponents look uninformed on foreign policy and liberal on economics. Regardless of who you thought won the debate, it was by far the best. Palo, Cell phones can send actual 'text' messages that someone can read like an email on their little visual display. But they can also use a TEXT code to 'send' a vote on a poll. I am 'gizmo' and 'doodad' challenged. ;)

That is wonderful . I really can't imagine living without the computer now. Though, we may all find ourselves reading smokesignals and using the abacus someday. I did not do well at the abacus.

I thought about going there but decided against it. I actually know, or knew both of these people. Boggles my mind, Somebody had to go to Hope High School from 1972- 74. And I was the victim. Mike, at the time, would stop and pull you out of the mud. A decent man really, nobody that I knew did not like him. Nobody could not like him, generally speaking. He was always humble, and that was quite different from the other pompous religious kids in the school. A lot of that. He is a true believer, One Way to Salvation and not, I think to be nuianced in the Middle East conversations. In short I would love him as a neighbor and lothe him as a COC. O and the MIC would roll him like a log. He is a Big Government Statist from day one.

These louts in the audience should consider themselves lucky that Dr. Paul has tossed his hat into the ring comprised of knaves and fools.

Final Tally of Tonight's Debate: Paul 32% Thompson 22% Huckabee 18% Hannity just said that he thought that Ron Paul lost the debate big time.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that Fox was determined to be as mean to Huckabee as to Dr. Paul. Rupert Murdoch ( and the elites?) don't like Huckabee at all. I thought that question was a cheap shot and it turns out it was actually taken out of Biblical New Testament context. I thought Huckabee's response was perfect - he did very well for himself and probably won over some undecided voters who fretted about how much his evangelical faith would make him too narrow focused. Huckabee made Carl Cameron regret asking him that question. I didn't think the intentional back-stab by Carl Cameron was funny at all. I thought it was below the belt and uncalled for. We Ron Paul supporters are outraged about the tough breaks that MSM have given to RP. But we should also be outraged about what cheap shots MSM delivers to other candidates. We want all the candidates to be on a level playing field and we should let media know when they are being unfair not only to RP but to others, because it means that they are openly abusing the power of the medium to de-select who they don't want for us.

That well sums it up. He will preside over the prison planet with a smile. RP is the only guy that sees where our current policies are going to bring us to.
