Actually Paul isn't a Republican given what has happened to the party over the past 20-30 years, so the question was somewhat appropriate. Why RP stays among that mix of gay internationalists is the real question.

I’ve heard that argument before and I’m weary of it. RP looked like a skunk at a picnic the other night and sometimes the right thing to do is stand on principle, especially given his less than sterling start.

I do wish you'd be a bit more optimistic. There is nothing lost by playing the game for a while and getting some form of message out there. Though he denies it all the time, if a GOP nod seems hopeless after super tuesday, and if his war chest is still pretty full, I think he will run as a Libertarian again.

Realism keeps getting in the way, for me at least. The game is rigged and his effort has unfolded exactly as I knew it would. I've been a good boy until now with a self exile, but I'm back and I'm goingto speak my piece. The bozo filter is alive and well for anyone who doesn't like what I'm saying. When you can show me where pom poms and cheerleading can trump Diebold machines I’ll be happy to join the squad.

Win, lose, draw, or swindled out of it, we don't lose anything by getting ideas out on the big stage. I bet this campaign has added a million new freedom lovers to the fold. If nothing else, that may be another million militias of one.

People forget that Perot had 20 million voters, Americans, that wanted redress.

To me to see another affirmation of say 30 million is a plus not a negative.
