Actually Paul isn't a Republican given what has happened to the party over the past 20-30 years, so the question was somewhat appropriate. Why RP stays among that mix of gay internationalists is the real question.

Probably because if he wasn't running for their presidential nomination, he would not get a nano second of air time.

jasoncin The Daily Paul January 11th, 2008

We just go back from the straw poll in Scottsdale Arizona! The vote total was 515 votes. 414 went to Ron Paul 80%!! 64 for McCain 12%, 13 votes for Romney, Giuliani 7, Fred Thompson 6, Huckabee 1, and Hunter 3.

My Husband, and I watched the ballot box all night. Suddenly, a group of McCain supporters took the box to count the votes without anyone noticing but us! My Husband John followed them. They went to a corner to count the votes and John jumped in to help count. They informed him that they did not need his help. He pushed his way into the group and let them know that he too would be assisting with the counting. They chose reluctantly not to argue! My husband is a cowboy and was not taking no for an answer. The pile of votes for Ron Paul was so high, that the pile kept falling over onto the John McCain pile. Of course no one was going to recount them but John. He had to keep grabing the McCain pile to separate all the Ron Paul votes from it! It was obvious that they did not intend for him to be there helping! Thank goodness he was there.

We need to take matters into our own hands now and then. We had a huge room of Ron Paul supporters tonight. It was a wonderful crowd to be around. But with all of us there, no one else jumped in to assist with counting. This needs to be done at all futures straw polls. They are very sneaky! Ron could have lost a lot of votes tonight.

As is said in the stockyards, "It's coming down to cutting time."

Either we clean it up now, or there will be blood in the streets.

No one here is going to be frog-marched off to the camps.

The frog needs to be boiled until electronic ID cards are standard, all firearms have been registered, and more waves of unassimilated immigration have been completed. The economy will need to be wreaked, possibly more than one more time, as well. This should be happening in due time, but we're not there yet.

Someone in the Ron Paul campaign now could still run for President later. Hopefully many of his followers will consider running for Congress, the Senate, and local posts as well.

There is still hope.

Now is the time to speak up with clarity, as you have. Later it will be against the law to say that the government is out of control.

freedom of speech in our country is dead
Fortunately President Ron Paul will be there

Not necessarily. Also, putting Ron Paul in the White house does not ensure our freedom, either.

honey, I think it'll be police state if we don't get Ron Paul in our White House next year
and if we do, we are safe

so I guess I stick with what I said

altho fine you see it differently
that's what a forum is, each puts in their two cents
Love, Palo

it will probably follow the course it is taking in UK
I notice their posters can still say what they want on net
but their citizens are spied on everywhere
the new law just passed there is huge fine ($250) for talking on cellphone while driving, smoking a cig while driving,
or eating while driving
they have new technology which takes the pic, sends it instantly to cops
and bingo before you've gone ten more miles the cops have you
they also can take away your drivers license

also I notice they no longer can have political demonstrations in UK
plus cops are now licensed to shoot to kill for domesic violence or stalking
this is how it starts...

I don't want to alarm anyone because I know President Ron Paul will be in Office, and he will veto all these bills here
we are safe!

I think we already have the strong beginnings of that with militarized and federally-coordinated local police forces — and the unconstitutional laws and EOs that have been imposed over the past six years.

I notice their posters can still say what they want on net [in the UK]

Not so. BNP activist Nick Griffin in the UK was charged with inciting hatred for speaking out against Islamics in the UK. The BBC caught him on video at a fairly private dinner making the remarks and he was dealing with the UK court system for a long time. If he had published those remarks online, the problem would have been magnified by the more public nature of his words.

Our situation is already becoming similar to the UK's in that respect because it is so risky to speak out about politically incorrect issues now. With Jane Harman's HR 1955 nearly passed, it may soon be technically illegal for us to be having this kind of conversation, discussing the possibility of a tyrannical police state that should be resisted.

You are a remarkable woman. I know you understand that I do not agree with Nick Griffin in total, but rather I speak up for his right to say what he believes, even if he hates others. The right to speak up and warn one another of threats, cultural, political, legal, and so forth — is essential for liberty to be protected.. HR 1955 makes it illegal to say that the government is no longer legally viable, because that implies that force would be required to make it accountable again.

If I do not defend Nick Griffin, who will defend me? Who will defend you?

I thank you, Palo. You are a brave person, if you are all that you say you are.

You are a brave person, if you are all that you say you are.

Like most honest posters here, PV is just that.

What you see is the truth, as we know it.

We may, or may not, be correct, but what you read is the truth as we see it.

You can't ask for any more than that.

thank you my beloved friend, Jim

I have been brave in my personal life
I didn't enjoy it
it meant being scared to death, but acting as if I wasn't
I think that period of my life is now over
I look forward to not having to demonstrate that kind of bravery again
altho I'm not sorry I went thru it, how else do we discover our strength

if I am called upon for bravery for political stuff now, I will
but I am happy just posting my truth on internet, that brings me total joy
Love, Palo

buckeye, stuff I did in my early 20s politically required no bravery for me then
lol I was 22 years old, I found it thrilling exciting and fun...
that is what 22 is!
