We Are Change LA interviews Richard Gage of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth (www.ae911truth.org) regarding the testimony by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center before Jane Harman's Congressional Committee. Mr Weitzman gave a presentation to the committee in support of H.R. 1955 where he positioned the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth website as an "incubator of 9/11 conspiracies and disinformation". This video is Richard Gage's response.
Well phrased objections to the linkage between www.ae911truth.org and terrorism in the presentation. But the wording of HR 1955 is what permits government to identify dissent as a potential threat.

This H.R. 1955 gets scarier and scarier as we learn more about its ramifications.
Setting aside whether the website of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth is accurate or not, why is this website presented as an example of "domestic terrorism" that necessitates gubment police action?
How does the Architcts and Engineers threaten you or me or any American? In America people have a guaranteed right to speak freely whether it's truth or lies, whether it's conspiracy or reality, whether it's information or disinformation.
Who the fudge cares what Mr. Weitzman thinks about this or any website, for that matter, and why does he get a hearing before Jane Harman's Congressional Committee?
Maybe some Americans are offended by the Simon Wiesenthal Center's website and goals. Does that give those offended people a right to appear before Congressmen to have its free speech, free association rights contravened by the gubment.
I think Harman and her fellow critters will looking at a Supreme Court challenge on their proposed anti-free speech legislation and I believe the gubment will be on the losing end of the stick on this Stalinist intrusion. This is shameful. Anyone who thinks Dems are going to be more pro civil rights than the neocons is fooling himself.
It's like this guy hasn't figured out yet that zionists did 9/11, that 9/11 truth spells the end of zionism and so zionists are going to do whatever it takes to fight it.
It's amazing to me that Mark Weitzman has himself convinced that speech is something that can be licensed and regulated in this country, and that his organization can push for that without reaping the resentment of American citizens.
General freedom of speech is what gives him the right to stand up and speak out against what he thinks is hateful and destructive. Others may not agree with him, and it is their right (as well) to say so. Under HR 1955, people might lose their right to criticize the Weisenthal center.

I would certainly hope so.
