The world has always, is now, and in the future, going to hell in the proverbial handbasket. So, I tell people, you have to rise above it all, and find your own place to live. It's the only thing you can do.

So, in the midst of everything, here is where I live. (1 image)

That's a part of the Ozarks I haven't been to yet.

That's not the Ozarks. That's Brigadoon, or should be.

The world has always been going to hell. So, I don't worry about the economy, or rumors of war, or collapse. You have to make your own little garden in your own little village.

I certainly don't live in the city, though.

I need to become more of a Broadway fan, I guess. That way, I would have recognized the scene.

I DID know it wasn't the Ozarks (at least in whatever geologic era we're in now).

Yeah, good advice. I DO live in a city, but it has only 5,000 inhabitants.

When I was 16 one of my friends had a Sea Snark. His parents got it through the mail by sending in about 1000 coupons from Kool cigarettes.

It was made of Styrofoam, had a very thin plastic sail, and a plywood rudder.

I built my own rowboat.
