Sorry Jethro, I'll take James' side here.

Every now and then I'll sing a few lines of an old love song into Mother's ear, and then say "gee, weren't those old lyrics great?".

Old Fashioned Love Song is a very special song to my girlfriend and me. It is one of those that has always been "ours."

This is our wedding song. It sounds the same after 34 years. That's about it.

I'm teasing James. It isn't a bad song and Three Dog Night had a few I like. One comes to mind. But only One :)

Lovely Jethroe.

The bride/groom dance at our reception was Anne Murray's "Could I have this dance".

Twelfth of Never is a good song. Another one which says the same thing is Coast of Colorado by Skip Ewing. It is one of my favorites.

Yeah, One was a good song too. I can't think of any of theirs I didn't like, though I liked some more than others of course.

I'd be happy if I never heard Joy to the World again. my favs are Easy to be Hard and Out in the Country, I guess. there are a lot of old songs that may not have been favorites at the time, but hearing them brings back fond memories.

(joy to the world doesn't bring back BAD memories - I just can't stand the song)
