Title: McCain Warns: "There Will Be Other Wars"

The presidential candidate who sang "Bomb bomb Iran" is already looking towards the war after the war in Iraq.

Sen. John McCain told a crowd of supporters on Sunday, "It's a tough war we're in. It's not going to be over right away. There's going to be other wars." Offering more of his increasingly bleak "straight talk," he repeated the claim: "I'm sorry to tell you, there's going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars."

McCain did not elaborate who the United States would be fighting. But he did warn the crowd to be ready for the ramifications of current and future battles.

"And right now - we're gonna have a lot of PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] to treat, my friends," he said. "We're gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds. And my friends, it's gonna be tough, we're gonna have a lot to do."

Watch the video

The remarks underscore a growing effort on McCain's behalf to keep the political discussion centered on foreign affairs (his strong suit) and not the economy (an admitted weakness). They also reflect a take of America's military policy that is heavily weighted towards combat. Earlier on the campaign trail, McCain posited that U.S. forces could be in Iraq for the next 100 years.

McCain's mind set is why we have constant warfare, and my dad supports him to the hilt.

Just stupid. That's all their is to it. Stupid and deluded.

This guy is nuts. And in the video, all he could say was 'my friends' this or 'my friends' that.........are we to believe these are actually friends of his........or more of the campaign bull he seems to sling.

He reminds me more of Gen. Jack D. Ripper.

Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper (Sterling Hayden) is a delusional commander of a United States Air Force base who initiates a plan to attack the Soviet Union with nuclear weapons, hoping to thwart a Communist conspiracy to "sap and impurify" the "precious bodily fluids" of the American people with fluoridated water, which he believes has caused his impotence.

How does he feel about the lack of tangible results to the war, and the continued casualties? It's not like our military is weak or anything like that. Why can't we crush our enemies if we must fight? Who is holding us back? Why are lawyers deciding targets? Why did we ask the UN for permission to invade Iraq? Why are some US troops fighting under NATO command, and not American command, in Afghanistan? Ask him these questions.

Also, ask him why America fights wars to protect Asia, Europe, and OPEC oil countries and their access to markets and then pays higher fuel prices? Why is our currency inflated when theirs stays stable? Why are we talking about more and more cooperation with the United Nations on issues of the environment and oceanic jurisdiction?

Who is holding us back?

I told everyone years ago that at the end of the day Robin and I would be reason for the defeat of the US in Iraq.

We just wouldn't cheer lead loud enough and it was our fault.

You can count on it.

You can count on it.

I won't be accusing either of you, that's for sure. Avoiding conflict is the proper military strategist's most effective tool. Winning decisively without hesitation is the other alternative. We're taking neither approach, which tells me that someone wants us to be at war endlessly. If global government will be tolerated by Americans, it will be a gradual process that involves weakening their resolve, decimating their civil rights by degrees, and encouraging them to put their children in harm's way under international command over the course of generations.

We've been doing all of this since the Korean war.

We've been doing all of this since the Korean war.

Endless war, unlike endless summer, allows the greedy evil ones to run rampant over the newly oppressed and fill their coffers with all kinds of unclaimed ill-gotten gain. Those broken oil meters, well, they will stay "broken" too.

You can't stop the Clintons.

Three things I've learned in the past few years:

1. Never get between a fat man and a bag of donuts.

2. Never get between JimRob and a dollar.

3. Never, ever get between a Clinton and power.

jeez...and we thought REAGAN was out of touch....these people get weirder and weirder.

President Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act on December 23, 1913. History proved that on that day, the Constitution ceased to be the governing covenant of the American people, and our liberties were handed over to a small group of international bankers. - Secrets of the Federal Reserve by Eustace Mullins
