Florida results 100 % ??

By DTFreak | January 29, 2008

I don’t understand how 100 % of the votes can be in and the polls are not closed. This Florida station is posting results @ 100% at 1:00 pm.

Please forgive me if I am missing something obvious.

This must be a screw-up. Maybe they confused one district with the entire state when they said 100% in. All other sites have Romney and McCain very close with Giuliani as a distant third for the preliminary counts.

And 18% for Kucinich? That's really strange.

Even if Thompson and Hunter are still on the ballot, I doubt if they would be getting vote totals like that.

Could that be a dummy result sent out to test the system?

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

Who are the 331,598 idiots who haven't seen the news that Thompson dropped out of the race, and even worse, the Duncan Hunter and Tancredo votes? There are over half a million Floridians who know so little that they're voting for people who aren't even in the race any longer?

I think I'll write in Reagan. So what if he already served two terms and is dead. The Chimp has declared the Constitution just a go_damned piece of paper.

Really, he's not in much worse shape than he was the last couple of year of his second term. Whereas he used to just nod off, now he's in the Land of Nod 24/7. Nancy's still in good shape. She can tell us what he would do if he were conscious.

I believe that the ballots are printed several months prior to the primary which means the ballots would still show all of the names.

It's interesting. Probably nothing. Notice how the last two Democrats got almost the exact same number of raw votes as the last two republicans? In fact the bottom democrat got the same number of votes EXACTLY as the bottom republican and the second to last democrat and the second to last republican are exactly one vote difference? What are the chances of that?

We have early voting here in Oregon too. That Florida result has to be because of the way people voted early which was something Julie-Annie
was talking about when he was trying to explain why he thought he would do OK.

I will vote before November just like last time in this vote by mail system Oregon has. You get the letter with the ballot sent to your home, you fill
it out and send it in, and at the end of election day they release the results.
