So I go to my polling place today to vote and I walked away wondering if my vote would be counted. Apparently there weren't enough working voting machines, they use optical readers, so it was throw your ballot in the box and they would be scanned in later. Sure they will.

My experience this morning found here: freedom4um.com/cgi-bin/re...gi?ArtNum=72701&Disp=2#C2 was a little better than yours. However, I think in November we both should vote absentee!

Will my vote be counted ? No.

It's not who votes / it's who counts. I love Paul, but I no longer believe in this system.

Agreed though I don't think it will make much difference. I want my chads back!

On a brighter note I happened to mention that after I voted I was going to change my party registration. They handed me a form to do so. I'll fill it out sometime this week and mail it in.

Good idea. I have a feeling I might be too. In 2004 I changed to Independent or Constitution Party. I had to change back to GOP today, so I was RINO for a day (I think). In Nov. I will vote against Hillary or McCain or I'll vote Independent or Constitution Party again.

Well that's what I'm doing. I'm joining AIP and have already been attending central committee meetings. I think they have me down as a delegate or elector or something like that.
