Historically, a massive influx into the US has always resulted in an economic downturn with about half of the new arrivals vacating the country.

I suspect welfare benefits will be curtailed in the near future thereby causing those who were hanging on for checks to vacate as well.

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.
