Not a very good reason. Ducking out of the tax system will more than pay for itself vs a one time rebate. Then again, I have people in my family who pay out $1,000s each year to uncle sam, get back a check for $500, and exclaim: "Look at all the free money I got!"
I'm afraid that I am one of those people still paying the "protection" money. I don't feel good about it since I know that the 16th Amendment was never legally ratified, but I am not willing to put up with the pain of being another lone, jailed, protester.
