Even though LA caucus is being contested (because RP won and then dirty tricks were used) they are having a PRIMARY tomorrow and are claiming they will use THAT to see who won.
If you live in LA, please don't forget to vote in the PRIMARY tomorrow.
First, the LA GOP violated their own rules and issued the official call for their caucus and state convention on December 17th , instead of October 1st . In this call, the party set a deadline of November 30^th for registering Republican to participate in the caucus. Normally, a deadline is a future event not something that had already passed more than two weeks earlier.
After this, the deadline to file as a delegate was arbitrarily extended after Ron Paul supporters filed a full slate in each congressional district. This was doubtlessly done to dilute the vote of Ron Paul supporters at the caucus.
And to add insult to injury, the LA GOP used an old voter registration list at the caucus, forcing literally hundreds to cast provisional ballots and throwing the results of 5 of the 7 congressional districts in doubt. But this did not stop the party from preemptively declaring John McCain the winner of the LA caucus.
Now, because of the uproar caused by the botched caucus process, there are some in the LA GOP who are considering tossing out the entire caucus results and awarding delegates to candidates based on the results of the Feb. 9 primary! This would effectively undo all the hard work done by thousands of Ron Paul supporters throughout Louisiana.
Some have asked what they can do about this whole mess. As you know, our campaign has filed an official contest with the LA GOP. While we pursue this issue, there is a very important thing all our Louisiana supporters can do: GET OUT THE VOTE ON FEBRUARY 9 .
We need to send a message to the GOP establishment that we dont appreciate the way our campaign and our candidate have been treated. We need to let them know that we dont appreciate the attitude that party rules are only to be followed when they benefit the establishments choice and hurt the peoples choice.
The best way to send this message is by dragging all your friends and family members to the polls on February 9^th to vote for Ron Paul.
To vote, you have to have been registered Republican by Jan. 9 .
If you qualify under this rule, then make sure you vote on Saturday! If you dont qualify under these rules, find people who do qualify and get them to the polls!
Many of you were unable to register in time to participate in the January 22nd caucus. Nows your chance to let your voice be heard. On Saturday, Feb. 9, lets strike a blow for Freedom and give Ron Paul a great victory in Louisiana!
There was a lot of complaining about the manipulation of the caucuses on the Moon Griffon show. The GOP leadership have given themselves a real black eye.
I note that the Louisiana GOP website does not discuss which delegates are committed to a given candidate; just the names and vote totals of the winners.

Maybe dissatisfaction with the GOP leadership will come out at the state convention:
The state GOP has 47 delegates, but all will be uncommitted, unless a candidate wins 50 percent of the vote. If, for example, McCain wins a majority, he will win 20 delegates while the other 27 will remain uncommitted, state GOP Chairman Roger Villere said. A state party convention Feb. 16 will resolve more of the GOP delegate picture.
The only fresh air on the LA radio I have ever found. Funny tho, he still is talking about the same old problems he was talking about from twenty years ago. I could re run them today and no one could tell the difference.
Pretty sad really. LA is still enslaved by the same forces that had em in chains decades ago.
He makes that point on his show. "I've said all along we need ethics reform, we need new faces in the legislature, we need to stop spending money on new lakes and equine centers and give it back to the people...."

You're from LA? I graduated from John McDonogh Senior High School in New Orleans in 1983 and lived in Slidell, Pearl River, and Kenner before leaving for good in 1986.
Speaking of radio stations, the best radio station I ever listened to was a FM station out of LaPlace. I believe it was WCKW but it's been so long I could be mistaken. They played what they called "album rock," and what made them so good was that they didn't just play the same old standard classic rock songs you hear today. Their program manager realized that rock bands had songs other than just their hits...and they played them. Ah to hear an obscure Allman Brothers or Emerson, Lake and Palmer song was a wonderful thing.
I thought they were better than The Loop in Chicago and KSHE-95 in St. Louis.
