Obama (Finally) Putting Attack On NAFTA Front and Center? Posted February 12, 2008 | 11:15 PM (EST) From Barack Obama's victory speech tonight: I've been troubled by some of Obama's votes on trade, and I've made no bones about that. But this rhetoric is encouraging. As I have written, it's good politics for Obama to put our lobbyist-written trade policy on trial in states like Wisconsin, Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania. But that' s not why I am encouraged. I am encouraged because it is good for the country for a major candidate to put this issue at the center of the debate in the stretch run of the nominating process. Since Edwards left the race, we haven't had anyone really focusing on this issue on the Democratic side. But it looks like that may be changing. And whoever you are for in this race, if you are a progressive, you will agree that's a good thing, indeed. With polls showing Americans are desperate for a departure from our current trade policy, getting this issue into the debate is an important step.

Too bad nobody asked what sort of "change" he was talking about. Little did they know he meant a change for the worse, where door to door searches for guns are commonplace, and people are either shot in their homes in the dead of night or carried off to a FEMA/Homeland Security detention center.
That's a heck of a statement. Do you have anything to back that up with?

Come on, which CFR candidate are you going to get behind? I think Hillary is the least worrisome of the three stooges that are in the lead, yet I wouldn't "get behind her" any more than simply stating that opinion. I'll be voting for either Ron Paul or myself as a write-in. That's an idea, come to think of it. If EVERYONE disgusted with the election were to write in their own names, at least the NWO would know whose house to go visit first. Ok, so skip the self write-in idea....

I'm hardly an "Obamaphile"... sheesh. However, I have extreme dislike for Hillary NAFTA GATT IRAQ Clinton, so I'm happy to see someone, anyone else in a position to grab the nomination away from her. And don't get me started on the Republicans. I'm sure Obama will be another empty suit/traitor/betrayer like the rest of them, it's not possible for anyone to get elected now who isn't. I'm not a naif. But still, it will be nice to see Hillary lose the nomination, I can only imagine what kind of screaming tirades she's having even now at her staff. As far as the Republicans go, they're a non-issue at this point. Thanks to Bush and Cheney, we won't see another Republican president for at least 20 years.

Don't forget the prefered trade status given to China by Klinton so then letting China enter the WTO. Also the financial/banking rules, regs and laws preventing the giant financial mess we have now where removed during Klintons watch. Obama will be no different. After 3 years on this board, some still have not learned.
