By voting for any one of them, you support and lend legitimacy to the fraud. Isn't it time we say no and no more?
2012 last nite posted the total number of votes cast by dem and pubs in DC, it was startling and as for a win for Obama, meant nothing, it was all hype.
No doubt in my mind that hillary, coming from Illinois, has the contacts there to have all the dirt, and then some, on obama==or perhaps his wife.
She is hellbent on becoming prez...........and no doubt there were some fbi files that sat missing for a while that had little nuggets of info bout the likes of mccain and/or other high profile craps.
Turn your back on the sun andyou only see the shadows.
I've been clean since my vote in '00 for Buchanan. It's very liberating not having a dog in the fight, but I have to say Obama will provide one last gasp of laughter for the politically incorrect like myself.
Since we're endorsing Obama the magic negro, how about we form a "Violence Never Solves Anything Club" and pre- emptively turn in our guns and anything sharp or pointy?

The anarchist viewpoint tends to run to the theory of voting for the worst person running as to make the system collapse on itself faster.
I can't think that way. I am using my vote as leverage to help kill Hillary's candidacy. I am a Pacific Green, and I may return to the Democratic roles for the primary to vote against Hillary.
I just can't stomach the thought of ever being registered Republican, but if I thought it would make a difference I would register as one to help Ron Paul.
I have a small window to decide what I am going to do before the Oregon primary, but I am game to piss in the hat Hillary threw in the ring. I loathe the Clintons with passion, and want to give her a chance to actually be a senator.
Actually serving is something she never intended on. That seat is a polish the apple gambit, and I hate their hypocrisy.
I am also born and raised as a Connecticut Yankee, and I want Lieberman's political scalp on a pike as well. McCain I loathe with every fiber of my being. You don't replace an arrogant, stuck up insane chimp with the same sort of creature who differs only in that he looks like a gram-pa orangutan instead of the sort of primate Tarzan called buddy. None of these people have more then my greatest disdain. Obama has the potential of proving himself. If I am forced to make a leap of faith, he would get my support.
I empathize with your sentiments here Christine; but some people can't just do nothing. Some people just feel compelled to try to do the least worst choice of things to do in a situation like this.
And it is worse to try to stop them then to go ahead and let them do the ritual that might be self delusional, as it usually helps them keep their sanity.

while i disagree with the rationale, you succeeded in making me understand it better.
The only solution to this mess is to dig a hole big enough to nudge them all in and cover quickly

sometimes doing nothing is the right thing, but it's a very difficult thing to do if you consider yourself an activist. a contradiction, if you will. we each have to sort it out on our own terms. sadly, people with the same ultimate purpose can get all caught up in the details. I hate it when politics messes up friendships.
I understand where you are coming from, probably better then you realize.
I supported Kerry the last time around and defended him stoutly at LP. I blew the whistle on petitioner fraud in Portland, Oregon and got Nader's attempt to get on the ballot to fail.
I knew it was Republican money paying to have these homeless and often drug addicted petitioners gather names which they traded, made up, got from phone books, or from people they told the petition was to keep Nader off the ballot, not put him on it.
I felt that Kerry was the one most likely to give into arm twisting to end the war, a judgment I now see I was wrong about.
I think I have been an effective activist. But the hind sight of history doesn't always make you feel good about either you actually did the right thing or not.
It was fraud, uncovered and verified fairly. But should I of bothered pointing it out to those who had the means to do something about it?
Whatever I do this country is in serious trouble. let us say I at least know that is beyond any doubt. ;-)
How someone could go from supporting Ron Paul to supporting an establishment candidate defies words. It's only more proof that there aren't that many left here worth fighting for, imo. And yet we kept working...
Yet Ron Paul steadfastly maintains his GOP affiliation and dismisses a 3rd party run?
Ron Paul, with his decision, has demonstrated for all to see that he IS part of the 'establishment'...the GOP establishment.
He built to machine to leave the 'establishment', yet he pissed it away and is now groveling for GOP votes to retain his rep seat.
Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'!
Quit crying. He is doing the only thing he can under the circumstances.
How can you not give the guy any credit? 11 started this race. There are 3 left, and a lot of bigger named media darlings went away a lot sooner.
Anyone that counts RP out at this point needs his head examined. To steal a quote from someone else, he is playing chess while the rest played checkers.
This "Super Delegates" issue is beyond me. It looks like they, whoever they are will select the Dems candidate. I hear they will be people like Bill Clinton, Donna Brasile etc. If they go to that much trouble to circumvent the voting process would it not seen plauseble that they would follow through and defeat MacLame also?

Counting him out...
Tell me how you actually think RP has a chance to become POTUS in 2009?
I really want to know.

Well, actually the first bullet is to kill the sonofabitch, and the other 16 are just to make sure he's really dead. Leastways that is how I see it....

In a word, lots of "conservative" R's hate McCain, and he's the only one who has a mathematical chance at winning the nomination outright.
If he doesn't win outright, it could be messy. Ron Paul could be selected as everyone's compromise. Particularly if we pound the hell out of his message between now and then.

You asked...
Conservatives are looking for someone else. McCain is not their guy.
