I understand where you are coming from, probably better then you realize. I supported Kerry the last time around and defended him stoutly at LP. I blew the whistle on petitioner fraud in Portland, Oregon and got Nader's attempt to get on the ballot to fail. I knew it was Republican money paying to have these homeless and often drug addicted petitioners gather names which they traded, made up, got from phone books, or from people they told the petition was to keep Nader off the ballot, not put him on it. I felt that Kerry was the one most likely to give into arm twisting to end the war, a judgment I now see I was wrong about. I think I have been an effective activist. But the hind sight of history doesn't always make you feel good about either you actually did the right thing or not. It was fraud, uncovered and verified fairly. But should I of bothered pointing it out to those who had the means to do something about it? Whatever I do this country is in serious trouble. let us say I at least know that is beyond any doubt. ;-)

Ron Paul, with his decision, has demonstrated for all to see that he IS part of the 'establishment'...the GOP establishment. This "Super Delegates" issue is beyond me. It looks like they, whoever they are will select the Dems candidate. I was watching Anderson Cooper and he played two of the Jack Booted Thugs videos we had here recently, not the woman, but the boy with the skateboard and the handicapped man dumped from his wheelchair (possible broken ribs he said). I thought that was kinda cool. Then they interviewed Lanny what's his face about the Democrat convention. It looks like no matter what, the convention will decide who becomes the nominee. Lanny said if the one perceived to have the greatest popular support is not chosen there will be a civil war in the party. 1968 Democratic Convention all over again.

Yes, it's time. We should be intuitive enough to say no when our conscience is violated. There isn't much chance that 300 million people will ever agree on all of the issues that confront them. There's even less chance that a small group of pre- selected elitists chosen to guide the masses by a very small group of manipulators will concern themselves with what they consider mediocrity, which is how they see the masses and what your question really addresses. What we have awoken to is a highly sophisticated form of mass propagandized, mob ruled socialism, cloaked in a meaningless CON-stitution, wrapped in a false patriotic flag, blended into a cauldron of voo doo religions, drugs, distractions, and materialism. In other words we have been intentionally programmed to be dysfunctional in order that we might be conveniently managed. We had maybe 10 potential (CFR) candidates that soon became 3 and easily could have become just 1 ... then what would be the purpose of your vote ?
