By voting for any one of them, you support and lend legitimacy to the fraud. Isn't it time we say no and no more?

I understand where you are coming from, probably better then you realize.

I supported Kerry the last time around and defended him stoutly at LP. I blew the whistle on petitioner fraud in Portland, Oregon and got Nader's attempt to get on the ballot to fail.

I knew it was Republican money paying to have these homeless and often drug addicted petitioners gather names which they traded, made up, got from phone books, or from people they told the petition was to keep Nader off the ballot, not put him on it.

I felt that Kerry was the one most likely to give into arm twisting to end the war, a judgment I now see I was wrong about.

I think I have been an effective activist. But the hind sight of history doesn't always make you feel good about either you actually did the right thing or not.

It was fraud, uncovered and verified fairly. But should I of bothered pointing it out to those who had the means to do something about it?

Whatever I do this country is in serious trouble. let us say I at least know that is beyond any doubt. ;-)

How someone could go from supporting Ron Paul to supporting an establishment candidate defies words. It's only more proof that there aren't that many left here worth fighting for, imo. And yet we kept working...

Yet Ron Paul steadfastly maintains his GOP affiliation and dismisses a 3rd party run?

Ron Paul, with his decision, has demonstrated for all to see that he IS part of the 'establishment'...the GOP establishment.

He built to machine to leave the 'establishment', yet he pissed it away and is now groveling for GOP votes to retain his rep seat.

In a word, lots of "conservative" R's hate McCain, and he's the only one who has a mathematical chance at winning the nomination outright.

If he doesn't win outright, it could be messy. Ron Paul could be selected as everyone's compromise. Particularly if we pound the hell out of his message between now and then.

sometimes doing nothing is the right thing, but it's a very difficult thing to do if you consider yourself an activist. a contradiction, if you will. we each have to sort it out on our own terms. sadly, people with the same ultimate purpose can get all caught up in the details. I hate it when politics messes up friendships.

I guess for me it's so simple because I clearly see how close we are to it being all over.

We're there.

They will Amnesty the permanet NAU majority within nothing flat.

EVERY single one of them are CFR-Trilat-Bilderberg-NAUers.

It's OVER.

The dollar is collapsing, COL is skyrocketing, banks are failing, cash is being printed and tossed around like holy water...there will be a crisis that brings the Official® crisis, right on time, and *poof* it's NAU time.

That's the END of our liberties, freedoms, lifestyle...our nation.

I was watching Anderson Cooper and he played two of the Jack Booted Thugs videos we had here recently, not the woman, but the boy with the skateboard and the handicapped man dumped from his wheelchair (possible broken ribs he said). I thought that was kinda cool.

Then they interviewed Lanny what's his face about the Democrat convention. It looks like no matter what, the convention will decide who becomes the nominee. Lanny said if the one perceived to have the greatest popular support is not chosen there will be a civil war in the party.

1968 Democratic Convention all over again.

Isn't it time we say no and no more?

Yes, it's time. We should be intuitive enough to say no when our conscience is violated.

There isn't much chance that 300 million people will ever agree on all of the issues that confront them. There's even less chance that a small group of pre- selected elitists chosen to guide the masses by a very small group of manipulators will concern themselves with what they consider mediocrity, which is how they see the masses and what your question really addresses.

What we have awoken to is a highly sophisticated form of mass propagandized, mob ruled socialism, cloaked in a meaningless CON-stitution, wrapped in a false patriotic flag, blended into a cauldron of voo doo religions, drugs, distractions, and materialism. In other words we have been intentionally programmed to be dysfunctional in order that we might be conveniently managed.

As a social whole, we are in a state of governmentally induced hypnosis that has left us incapable of recognizing our own sick state of paralysis. This election cycle is the perfect example. We had maybe 10 potential (CFR) candidates that soon became 3 and easily could have become just 1 ... then what would be the purpose of your vote ? Is it possible that the slew of candidates could simply determine among themselves who will be President and by dropping out leave us to choose from 1 final contestant. Hahahahaha ... it makes voting so much simpler but really, ya gotta be shitting me.

1st you're instructed that "anyone" can become the President, or that if you work hard and keep your nose clean you can succeed. And by the time you realize that you've been lied to from birth the ever tightening noose of fascist / communist incrementalism is choking the intrinsic value of life from you and it begins to dawn on you that you're actually in bondage to a system designed to incarcerate you without the necessity of bars ... unless you aren't programmable. [Charlie Manson rightfully proclaimed that he was the perfect example of being a product of their "system" since he was institutionalized most of his life.]

So, if it makes you feel better get out there and vote. Personally, I think there will be an opportunity to vote with meaning sometime soon. The votes will be tallied by counting the holes left in the candidate of the moment. Sign me up.

"""...Why do I support Ron Paul?

The Job the President Swears to do on inauguration day is this:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I support Ron Paul because he has a 20 year voting record that shows that he will, without fail, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Thus I'd say "the best of (his) ability" is pretty damned good.

This whole Constitution thingy may not mean much to someone who has decided to support a candidate who voted for the reauthorization of the Patriot Act, but just because you are ignorant (not stupid, but ignorant) doesn't mean that you shouldn't be allowed to vote for whom you choose; it is YOUR decision, as you stated. ... If I supported Obama and were asked to consider a simple question like "what is a President actually supposed to do?", discovered that I had no clue, and after actually learning the answer realized that my candidate was completely unfit for the job, I probably wouldn't have any desire to explain why I supported him either. ... As a constitutional law professor, Barack Obama would be expected to possess profound knowledge of the Constitution....Barack Obama actually gave a knowledge based Pretty Speech about how atrociously the reauthorization of the Patriot Act violates civil liberties (you know, the ones the 4th Amendment that outdated Constitution thing-a-ma-bob protects) immediately prior to his announcing that he would be voting FOR it. littlePretty speeches don't ... our Constitution from getting raped either... U.S. plans Baghdad embassy more secure than Pentagon
By Chris Hughes Security Correspondent

AMERICA is to spend £1billion on an embassy in Baghdad "more secure than the Pentagon".

Plans for the hi-tech complex are being kept secret because of the terrorist threat in Iraq.

The exact location is not being released until later this year but it is likely to be built in the heavily fortified Green Zone area where the Iraqi government and US military command is based.

The embassy will be guarded by 15ft blast walls and ground-to-air missiles and the main building will have bunkers for use during air offensives.

The grounds will include as many as 300 houses for consular and military officials.
