This is pretty typical of the disconnect from reality that has become our national pastime...insanity.

You have just a whole lot of people that can't pay the bankers, basically in one form or another, right?

Okay then, what does that leave for taxes to the government?

Default. And lower revenue among those who do pay into the system.

The politicians are so perfectly insane, with such a wish for obsolescence, that they are now talking about RAISING taxes. I really can't think of a faster way to create a huge backlash than by displaying the spectacular lack of wisdom peculiar to all politicians and administrative twerps that always amounts to putting out a fire with gasoline.

That no one I have seen on television or mainstream media is mentioning this is sort of strange. I would normally suggest that this is some type of calculated omission, but the incompetence, arrogance and general stupidity of the average media employee is so profound that it easily allows for such a massive inability to connect the dots, or even find the dots at all. And the rest of the media employees are stupid, too, if they had felt left out, but its just that they really work for the CIA.

But no one is supposed to know that either so shut your mouth and go watch television.

Raising taxes pisses off the working class which in my definition doesn't include govt employees. That's good for us. More pissed off people.

What is going to happen to state governments who get no income tax on unemployed workers or property taxes from foreclosed houses? They have to cut back the government dregs. Which creates even less money for state governments. Which means less govt interference. Which is good for us.

What is going to happen to local govts/ school districts? They get lots less money from the state. They cut back on sports programs, teachers, aides, busdrivers etc which exacerbates the economic problem.

I'm sorry for those who are really hurt by the economic shift that's hitting the land. But people need to wake up and perhaps this will help.

For the longest time we all said people were too apathetic and nothing would change until they gave a damn.

Here we are. They are paying attention now, I guarantee.

And the boomers are going to get hit pretty hard, so I guarantee that segment will wake up real fast....

You have a perfect storm for change in all areas of society. So this is why I say that change is coming in a big way regardless of politics.....the change is coming IN SPITE OF politics. In fact, politics and every other system of influence and control is totally irrelevant, in that it has no longer any power to maintain the status quo.
