The statement said Americans were sick of "this kind of gutter politics" and senator McCain was an honourable man.

McCain has been traveling in the gutter for many years, so actually he would recognize gutter politics. Politics is a dirty business and McCain is a dirty politician.

is that the real title?

if so, the msm is really going after this clown.

Many believe in either intelligent design or evolution...but I am opting for unintelligent design, where god is a retarded kid who likes setting army men on fire and leaving his toys out in the rain.

"John McCain has a 24-year record of serving our country with honour and integrity," the campaign said.

"He has never violated the public trust, never done favours for special interests or lobbyists, and he will not allow a smear campaign to distract from the issues at stake in this election."

The statement said Americans were sick of "this kind of gutter politics" and senator McCain was an honourable man.

All of this just begs the question(s).......

l. What does 24 years of serving your country with honor and integrity have to do a adultry?

2. What does violating the public trust have to do with adultry?

3. What does favors for special interests and lobbyists have to do with adultry?

4. What does a smear campaign distracting from issues at stake in this (or any, for that matter) election have to do with adultry?

I submit these have absolutely NOTHING to do with cheating on your husband OR wife.

Furthermore, I would submit that his track record on running around on his wife DOES HAVE EVERYTHING to do with it.............which is why not a friggin thing they said in this 'denial' was said about personal relationships or marital relationships.

And the 'evangelicals' or 'christians' that read the 'official denial' will read into it that he is a saint and thereby their conscience will allow them to vote for him. Their excuse is as sickening as someone saying 'they didn't see JFK having and affair and thus they can't believe it because they have no personal knowledge.

And furthermore, this 'honor and integrity' bit is a friggin LIE.........think Keating Five.

As with slick willy, the alleged sex will distract from the real crime, selling senate influence.

think Keating Five.

Think 30-40 million illegals and "AMNESTY" ... back room deals with other fake conservatives like Kyl and Lindsey Graham.

Not an ounce of honor or integrity ... McSlime is a self-serving piece of dog feces.

I'm sure it will detract.......I just hope enough evangelicals/christians are distracted enough to vote for anybody else.

Hopefully, those who actually see the other issue, i.e., selling out, wouldn't vote for the guy if he was the only one running.

I appreciate it !

Well it's more likely that the peeps had forgotten The Keating 5 of the Savings and Loan debacle, which one could add the name of Neil (teflon) BUSH to the list of these inbred parasites.

Why is it that sex scandals are the only thing that can bring down a crooked politician these days? Nobody calls McCain on influence peddling, warmongering, lying, and all of the dirty money that went to and from his office. It was just the same with Clinton: hardly anyone cared about Whitewater, Mena/Iran-Contra connection, and his "dirty tricks" against political enemies. People only thought that it might be worth getting rid of him when the talk turned to stained dresses and cigars.

Does sex bring a politician down? It didn't bring Clinton down.

No but the special access given to a lobbyist should.

The special access would, but the media will dwell on the sex, and sex DOESN'T bring politicians down any more.
