BREAKING: Romney Might Re-Enter Race!!

Not too much info has come out yet, but here is LA Times reporting that it is "unlikely, but possible" that Romney will Re enter the race.

(Here)

Josh Romney, one of former Gov. Mitt Romney's five sons, says it's "possible" his father may rejoin the race for the White House, as a vice presidential candidate or as the Republican Party's standard-bearer if the campaign of Sen. John McCain falters.

This would provide an interesting 'rallying' point for conservatives who have drifted away from McCain. With the fat lady wandering outside McCain's HQ during this ongoing lobbyist scandal, it is very possible that Romney and Huchabee could give McCain yet another run for his money and give the Democrats a dream: brokered Republican convention.

Romney did not terminate his campaign, he only "suspended it" (Source)

It is possible, but unlikely that we could have a dream ticket to run against: "Flip Flop" Mitt and "Praise God Almighty" Huckabee.

Speaking of Huckabee, who majored in "miracles," could this be the miracle he was waiting for? If Romney were to re-enter the race against McCain, it would bring huge press coverage, and a combined force between Huckabee and Romney at the convention could end bring McCains short-lived victory to a screeching halt.

Am I allowed to say Go Romney? =P

Romney would be a big improvement over McCain.

I've already said too much.

Somewhere it says he has already lost 40 million of his own money.

Chump change for Bloomberg, but a lot for Romney.

He would be, but he doesn't have the delegates. So unless something amazing happens, like the miracle the Huckster has admitted to praying for, the convention will nominate McCain.

Does anyone know how much $$ Romney has? I imagine it is much less than Bloomberg, but that could still be a vast fortune.

I think it's in the $200-$300 million range.

First Romney said they worth $100 million then a few weeks later that was raised to $150 million.

Chump change for Bloomberg

I'm thinking based on genetics alone, Bloomberg wouldn't pop for $40k of his own money never mind $40 million.

Hope springs eternal.....there are still a number of races to be run and delegates to be chosen, etc. And as sports announcers so often say/said, "it ain't over til the fat lady sings".

I personally wouldn't vote for mitty any quicker than I'd push a lever for Mchurian.......but there are all sorts of possibilities.

Perhaps, just perhaps, Mchurian is toast. There never was a complete listing, to my knowledge, of the 900+ known FBI files from back in the 90s.....

If it gets 'close' to be proven that he was dilly dallying, you can bet those with religious convictions on the right will have a hard time pulling the lever, regardless of what Bauer the butt kisser says or does. If worse came to worst, they'd sit it out and not vote for the top job.

Turn your back on the sun and you only see the shadows.

Hardly merits 2 exclamation points. Romney didn't merit them when he was running before. Now he jumps in because he thinks the scandal has crippled his rival?

Didn't he already endorse McCain?

Then he's a proven sleeze politician. Let's hope he does reenter and make it a brokered convention.
