Obama is winning again; he speaks slowly and uses up much MUCH more time than Clinton does.

she's being pretty aggressive with dominating the conversation.

she whines a lot

She was more into taking cheap shots and making debating points, while Obama stuck with the substantive issues.

I was impressed by Obama. He seemed to be talking from knowledge, while she seemed to be talking from superficial talking points.

desperation will do that, he seemed comfortable and responded well

He handled her attacks very well, such as when she claimed it didn't count that he opposed going to war with Iraq because he had no "responsibility" at the time, he said he was running for the Senate at the time and his opposition made an issue of it.

Then when she made a cheap point on "denouncing" versus "rejecting" Farrakhan, Obama said, OK, I both reject and denounce him.

Those were both good responses, also her earlier in the week attack on "bombing Pakistan". He never said bomb, and he explained what he said very well.

The Tim Russert moderated debates are the best ones because he tries to nail the candidates with embarrassing questions from their records and past statements, which he throws up in their faces.

Russert seemed genuinely upset about the outsourcing of jobs from Buffalo.

And remember her response? She said she promised the new jobs in 2000 because she thought Al Gore was going to be president!

Like the Clintons really helped him. LOL.

That was amusing. And you're right they weren't much help, poor Al, he really did win.

The media consortium that went back and recounted the 2000 Florida election found that Al Gore won Florida if you recount the whole state. If you just recount the four counties Al Gore requested, Bush wins.

A full state recount was where the Florida courts were heading when the US Supreme Court took over and shut down the process with Bush ahead and thus the official winner.
