He handled her attacks very well, such as when she claimed it didn't count that he opposed going to war with Iraq because he had no "responsibility" at the time, he said he was running for the Senate at the time and his opposition made an issue of it. Then when she made a cheap point on "denouncing" versus "rejecting" Farrakhan, Obama said, OK, I both reject and denounce him.
Those were both good responses, also her earlier in the week attack on "bombing Pakistan". He never said bomb, and he explained what he said very well.

The Tim Russert moderated debates are the best ones because he tries to nail the candidates with embarrassing questions from their records and past statements, which he throws up in their faces.

Russert seemed genuinely upset about the outsourcing of jobs from Buffalo.

I think Obama was very gracious and respectful towards her, more than she deserved or would have been had she been ahead in the polls and delegates.

The media consortium that went back and recounted the 2000 Florida election found that Al Gore won Florida if you recount the whole state. If you just recount the four counties Al Gore requested, Bush wins. A full state recount was where the Florida courts were heading when the US Supreme Court took over and shut down the process with Bush ahead and thus the official winner.
