Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne, arrive at Love Field on Feb. 25, 2008.

Vice President Dick Cheney was visiting Dallas on Monday for undisclosed reasons.

Cheney and is wife, Lynne, arrived at Love Field airport at about 11:15 a.m.

The smiling and waving couple exited Air Force One about 5 minutes.

A limousine quickly escorted from them from the tarmac.

No further details were available.

Poster Comment:

This shows two things, something fishy is up with no details about a Cheney visit to a state that has a primary March 4th, and that the hubris is so huge with these people, they no longer much care if people talk about how bad something like this looks to Americans grown angry and suspicious of an administration that thinks it in and of itself is the only part of government that counts.

I hope some people down there are digging to see what they can find out about this criminal's visit to Dallas, a favorite city for the shadow government to do their ops in. (1 image)

Dallas is of course the city where the Secret Service recently failed to give proper protection to Obama.

I doubt if they similarly failed with respect to Cheney.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

At least he doesn't look well. Maybe a 2nd medical opinion?

Vice President Dick Cheney swept into the Permian Basin on Air Force Two Tuesday to raise money for U.S. Sen. John Cornyn's race against a well-funded Democrat and bolster the Republican base for the March 4 primary and Nov. 4 general election.

This article gives an explanation (although it does not exclude the possibility that Cheney was conducting other business).

I wonder what the meaning is of to "bolster the Republican base for the March 4 primary".

Cheney had appeared in Dallas on Monday and stopped at Robert Gray Army Airfield at Fort Hood in Killeen to address troops Tuesday morning. A number of Air Force and Army personnel accompanied him on Air Force Two and awaited his return.

Also on Monday. Why would he care so much about one senate seat?

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn

September 11th changed everything. We saw clearly that dangers can gather far from our own shores and find us here at home. We learned that the global terror network is a strategic threat to this nation, and must be dealt with as such. So our nation made a decision: To fight and win this war, we're going on the offensive, we'll confront the enemy directly and decisively, and we will persevere until that enemy is destroyed. (Applause.)

I don't think anyone believes that after 9/11 the terrorists decided to wait six or more years before hitting the United States again. The fact is they have tried repeatedly to wage more attacks, and they are hell-bent on succeeding. There's no way to guarantee it won't happen again. But we have managed to avoid another 9/11, not because of good luck but because of hard work. A lot of very dedicated professionals get up every day to protect the homeland. We've improved our security arrangements, reorganized our intelligence capabilities, and worked closely with friends and allies all over the world to track down terrorists. We've monitored enemy communications. And yes, we have interrogated high-value detainees, and gotten the information that has saved American lives. It's good we captured them, and it's good that we found out what they knew.

Cheney's speech to the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood on Feb. 26, 2008.

He never loses an opportunity to defend the eavesdropping and torture.

I find Darth Cheney bringing up 9/11 most disturbing. It's almost like a thinly veiled threat.

It's mysterious how, with veto threats and obstructionism, Bush and the Republicans have blocked the Democrats' repeated offer to extend the Protect America Act, so that Bush retains the eavesdropping powers he got in August until the Houses of Congress can agree on a compromise replacement act.

The Republicans seem to want to have that as an issue. Maybe they're expecting something to happen.

Someone other than the Clintons stole the New Hampshire primary for Hillary. Persons unknown might just steal the Texas and Ohio primaries for Hillary too. I think they prefer Hillary to Obama because she is a more experienced crook.

Obama would have to have a death wish to accept Hillary as his running mate.

I am against Hillary and Obama. Hillary is a Bilderberger and Obama has Zbignew Brzezinski (Trilateral Commission) as his chief foreign policy advisor. Zbig gave money to the AFghan rebels before the Soviet invasion telling President Carter that he was giving money to people who would force the Soviets to invade Afghanistan. They did later that year in December of 1979. More than 6.6 million Afghanis have died since then as a result of Zbig's machinations and games.

Do not worry about me. I am not voting for McCain. I will write in Ron Paul.

And sometime it take a visit from one of the 'big boys' to get those about to do serious felonies involving the theft of an election in line.

Someone other than the Clintons stole the New Hampshire primary for Hillary.

However, it did suit the Clinton supporters in charge of the NH state government and state Democratic Party to accept the reported results and not take too hard a look at them.

Since when did the Vice President's plane start getting the AF1 designation?
