I'm a 50-something WM mild fiscal conservative in Houston. My whole family (me, wife, 22 yr old college senior, and 18 yr old HS senior) voted early at 6 pm last Saturday. Incredibly easy, no line, planning on making this a traditional get-together. The Polling Place ladies were excited to see the whole family voting like that.

Early voting is so easy that I look for a HUGE turn-out here.

Family Results: 3 anti-Hillary votes for Obama, 1 vote for Ron Paul (out of conscience, not practicality).

I sense a building groundswell for Obama here; personally however I won't believe it has happened until the legs retract back under the house leaving the Ruby Slippers behind.

I did however catch myself whistling "Ding Dong The Witch is Dead" as I left the polls. Perhaps this could be a "secret sign" between Obamacans?

One fact that nobody seemed to have accounted-for in the primary arithmetic: the current crop of 18 year olds (the Baby Boom Rebound) is the largest cohort headed to college in the history of the country.(there were more Boomers, but a smaller fraction attended college) Further, they appear to be voting in VERY large numbers, and apparently overwhelmingly for Obama. I think that's got to be good for the democratic process, even if BHO is way too left for my tastes.

Wish us luck; it isn't often that Primary Season in TX means anything.
