Oh, I caucused for Obama. In fact, I chaired the precinct convention. I did my little part in the Hillobama drama.

Sorry ghost .. jumped to the wrong conclusion on the write-in.

If we don't pull a Hail-Mary in PA we might as well both do it. There ain't a dime's worth of difference in the other two.

BTW, I canvassed door to door for Obama .... trying hard, as I did so, to fight off the impression I was getting that Obama was God only knows how many decades before his time in running as a Black man for President.

There's a scary amount of race hatred out there.

A lot less than there used to be, IMO. We had a lot of folks show up for Obama in Lubbock, of all places. Of course, that could be a measure of the Clinton hatred, too.

A) Show-ups are encouraging (same here in OH)

B) But I think when you meet the broader demographic of people at their own front door you come away at least a little depressed.

C) Don't ever think racism is not AT LEAST as rampant in the north as in the south.

This from an old fart that tries to stay optimistic.
