What "lifetime of experience" are we talking about? Hillary has been a Senator for only a few years longer than Obama, during which time she accomplished almost as little as he has. Being married to a President doesn't count as "experience." What's next, will Monica Lewinsky run for office saying that her intimacy with Bill makes her uniquely qualified?

Over Hitlery, yes I do. I view him the least evil of two lessors and the only one who does have a window of opportunity to prove pundits like you wrong.
Don't confuse me for a pundit. I think he's just a prop and those voting for him believe that the system still works, that we haven't lost our country and that somehow someone can fix this.
I don't want to sound like I'd ever defend Hillary, but what's the big deal about party loyalty anyway? The two parties are almost identical, so if a Republican endorses a Democrat or the other way around, what difference does it make? I think that loyalty to your party can be a bad thing. Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan pulled lots of punches to keep from burning bridges with the RNC.
If forced to choose between the lesser of these evils, I'd have to go with BHO.

As we meandered our way through the ever busy Bree Street, Harry could not help observing how filthy downtown Johannesburg had become. I had made the same disturbing observation myself the day I arrived, but had been reluctant to accept the disturbing fact that decay of public infrastructure seems to be the story in areas of the city inhabited by blacks. Same here. While they both have similar agendas, McInsane is clearly the most psychotic (but only a little more). In fact, I would bet that he would effectively unite the world against America in no short order to take the US down as the allies did to bring Nazi Germany down. At worst, if McHitler continued to escalate and didn't flinch or get removed from power, then it could end badly for everyone. No future for humanity. And Jesus ain't going to come back to save a world hell-bent on suicide -- or a world already destroyed.

I alluded to that in mentioning escalation and "ending badly for everyone". If a nuclear exchange (rather than a one-sided big-power-nuking-smaller-nukeless-country only) gets out of hand, then all the fears of the Cold War and everybody dieing again becomes a threat. I think McCain would be the most genuine "Hitler" the world has ever seen since the original. All the other designated Hitlers were just hype to brainwash complacent sheep into supporting militarily intervention against this or that dictator. With McCain the world gets the real deal. And if the rest of the world doesn't recognize it now, they will soon enough. If McCain is prez, will Americans STILL be asking themselves "Why does the world want to destroy us?" I'd like to think that a Democratic House would stand up and remove such a monster, or at the very least make an effort to thwart him. But somehow I suspect that, not wanting to invoke his legendary temper, they will go along with him. Bucuz rite or rong, we gots to support ar cummandur in cheef. Nonsense on its face. Dr. Strangelove and Hitlery showed their establishment lockstep with their support of the Decider. Obama showed good old-fashioned, American common sense. Now, from what I'm sensing on recent threads, otherwise sensible people have finally stopped hitting the snooze button and awakened to the fact that in all probability the next President is going to be one of these two dreadful nominees. It didn't have to happen. Sorry ghost .. jumped to the wrong conclusion on the write-in. If we don't pull a Hail-Mary in PA we might as well both do it. There ain't a dime's worth of difference in the other two. BTW, I canvassed door to door for Obama .... trying hard, as I did so, to fight off the impression I was getting that Obama was God only knows how many decades before his time in running as a Black man for President. There's a scary amount of race hatred out there.

A) Show-ups are encouraging (same here in OH) B) But I think when you meet the broader demographic of people at their own front door you come away at least a little depressed. I get the feeling that if there were a "Second Coming," vicious and hypocritical Bible-bangers like Hagee would be the last people to be taken to heaven. How can anybody read the Sermon on the Mount and come away from it sounding like Hagee, Falwell (good riddance), or Robertson?
