A lot has been made of Mark Weitzman's (Simon Weisenthal Ctr) testimony before Congress regarding HR 1955. His entire testimony was less than 10 minutes. But I think it's important to watch the entire presentation made to Congress, it's almost comical. You can watch it while surfing and doing other things, and just listen to it. Some very interesting and revealing info on there.

Weitman's testimony begins at around minute 43. At about minute 50, other presenters talk about 'radical jihadist websites' and show a video of Kean of the 911 commission stating that "there is absolutely no link between iraq and 911", with the caption 'AL QAEDA USES OUR WORDS AGAINST US' in the background. The presenter speaks these sites of 'boosting jihadist morale', show JDL grandson adam gadan, and talk a lot about 'dangerous' and 'secret' message boards. What unbelievably sick B.S.

a lot of hype came after weitzman's testimony, but the testimony itself, the subject of all the discussion, seems to be rarely shown. I wonder why all the minutemen (are they even still around?) and Tancredo weren't up in arms about this scandalous mischaracterization of border control advocates.

I've thought about this a little. The 9/11 Reichstag fire got the patriot ire up. They keep thinking that the enemy is "out there," and forgetting that by policy, we have a welcoming posture toward Saudi Arabia and other countries which produce Islamic terrorists. That policy is written by the elites in DC, and it is maintained to this day. The minute men are easily manipulated by fear. Tancredo is a lapdog of the Israel-first lobby. He's only just recently started to speak out against the North American Union. I think he might wake up someday, but he's still thinking that America has to go on the offensive to protect itself. Really, we need to clean up corruption and shine a light on the corrosive influences that have been permitted to calcify in DC.

As Tina Brown, the doyenne of post-modern media, has pointed out: the “conjunction of 21st-century Internet speed and 12th-century fanaticism has turned our world into a tinderbox.”6

The implications of this development have been enormous. The Internet, once seen as an engine of education and enlightenment, has instead become an immensely useful vehicle for terrorists with which to peddle their baseless propaganda and manifold conspiracy theories and summon their followers to violence.7 These sites alarmingly present an increasingly compelling and indeed accepted alternative point of view to the terrorists’ variegated audiences. This was of course precisely al Qaeda’s purpose in creating its first website, www.alneda.com, and maintaining a variety of successor sites ever since: to provide an alternative source for news and information that the movement itself could exert total control over. Identical arguments——claiming distortion and censorship by Western and other mainstream media——have also been voiced by sites either created by the Iraqi insurgent groups

That's 4, if you read between the lines. I may not agree with everyone here, but the free flow of ideas is CRITICAL to the defense of liberty. That's exactly what this legislation is intended to suppress.
