A lot has been made of Mark Weitzman's (Simon Weisenthal Ctr) testimony before Congress regarding HR 1955. His entire testimony was less than 10 minutes. But I think it's important to watch the entire presentation made to Congress, it's almost comical. You can watch it while surfing and doing other things, and just listen to it. Some very interesting and revealing info on there.

Weitman's testimony begins at around minute 43. At about minute 50, other presenters talk about 'radical jihadist websites' and show a video of Kean of the 911 commission stating that "there is absolutely no link between iraq and 911", with the caption 'AL QAEDA USES OUR WORDS AGAINST US' in the background. The presenter speaks these sites of 'boosting jihadist morale', show JDL grandson adam gadan, and talk a lot about 'dangerous' and 'secret' message boards. What unbelievably sick B.S.

On this page, www.911blogger.com/node/12914 Richard Gage of Architects and engineers for 911 truth responds to Mark Weitzman.

Here is the link to watch the entire video of congressional testimony: homeland.edgeboss.net/wme...nd/chs/internetterror.wvx

Seldom mentioned is that during his presentation, weitzman also showcases border control advocates, characterizing them as radicals who aide terrorism and how their info strives to encourage 'more stringent border controls'. (as if border control is a bad thing?) Subscribe to *9-11*

at 2:16:55, shortly before the session is adjourned, Jane Harmen returns to Mark weitzman of the simon weisenthal center and asks him about positive messages his group is sending. he speaks of giving dvds to law enforcement, and of the Simon weisenthal website.

he talks about 'countering the counter history', how they 'have their own version of reality', , which he contends is 'full of conspiracy theories and doctored videos'. He then goes on to mention the 'protocals of the elders of zion;, which he refers to as 'the bedrock of all these conspiracy theories'.

a lot of hype came after weitzman's testimony, but the testimony itself, the subject of all the discussion, seems to be rarely shown. I wonder why all the minutemen (are they even still around?) and Tancredo weren't up in arms about this scandalous mischaracterization of border control advocates.

"It is worth pointing out that some observers have noted the attempts online to bring Islamist and right-wing extremist groups together, which are often visible in cyberspace" -Mark Weitzman

Please note that interestingly, the written testimony in the following official link from congress differs from the exact words that were said.

http://homeland.house.gov/Hearings/index.asp?ID=102 weitzman's testimony (written) http://homeland.house.gov/SiteDocuments/20071106144414-90408.pdf

excerpt:

To illustrate the trends described above, we have put together a short PowerPoint demonstration. Without going into deep detail in these written remarks, I would like to offer some brief descriptions of the material that will be shown. The presentation begins with a look at how 9/11 is viewed in some eyes online, including those who applauded it as well as some conspiracies sites. The presence of the conspiracy site is significant, since so much of what passes as fact online is actually based on some form of conspiracy. These are often built around the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which allege Jewish control of the world, or around presenting the United States government as being engaged in various conspiracies or cover-ups, or ultimately having the entire Western world engaged in a vast, multi-layered conspiracy against the Islamic world.10

Next is a series of sites of media portals which show some of the varied methods that the Islamists use to get their message out, including some based on United States servers. These are followed by some looks at charts and other manuals on how to use violence, along with a novel interpretation of jihad that calls for an “electronic jihad.”

There are jihad discussion groups and some Islamist sites aimed at Latin America (a new target), as well as some links to extremist right-wing groups like Neo-Nazi, etc. It is worth pointing out that some observers have noted the attempts online to bring Islamist and right-wing extremist groups together, which are often visible in cyberspace.11

I've thought about this a little. The 9/11 Reichstag fire got the patriot ire up. They keep thinking that the enemy is "out there," and forgetting that by policy, we have a welcoming posture toward Saudi Arabia and other countries which produce Islamic terrorists. That policy is written by the elites in DC, and it is maintained to this day. The minute men are easily manipulated by fear. Tancredo is a lapdog of the Israel-first lobby. He's only just recently started to speak out against the North American Union. I think he might wake up someday, but he's still thinking that America has to go on the offensive to protect itself. Really, we need to clean up corruption and shine a light on the corrosive influences that have been permitted to calcify in DC.

USING THE WEB AS A WEAPON: THE INTERNET AS A TOOL FOR VIOLENT RADICALIZATION AND HOMEGROWN TERRORISM

(Testimony of) Professor Bruce Hoffman Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

Excerpt:

As Tina Brown, the doyenne of post-modern media, has pointed out: the “conjunction of 21st-century Internet speed and 12th-century fanaticism has turned our world into a tinderbox.”6

The implications of this development have been enormous. The Internet, once seen as an engine of education and enlightenment, has instead become an immensely useful vehicle for terrorists with which to peddle their baseless propaganda and manifold conspiracy theories and summon their followers to violence.7 These sites alarmingly present an increasingly compelling and indeed accepted alternative point of view to the terrorists’ variegated audiences. This was of course precisely al Qaeda’s purpose in creating its first website, www.alneda.com, and maintaining a variety of successor sites ever since: to provide an alternative source for news and information that the movement itself could exert total control over. Identical arguments——claiming distortion and censorship by Western and other mainstream media——have also been voiced by sites either created by the Iraqi insurgent groups

That's 4, if you read between the lines. I may not agree with everyone here, but the free flow of ideas is CRITICAL to the defense of liberty. That's exactly what this legislation is intended to suppress.

here is the part I referred to

Weitzman's is discussing various video games, his testimony at 45:32:

"finally border patrol, the object is to shoot as many illegal immigrants, coming across. obviously, the games target young people, helps implicate a mindset in them, and to change that into a social policy, such as supporting, uh, stringent, um, controls." (The words 'SUPPORT BORDER CONTROLS' are shown on the screen at this time)

Excellent observation. Overheard: "[(Paraphrasing) The game is intended to create a mindset in children, such as to support] change in policy, such as... (long pause) stringent controls."

The words antisemitic and white supremacist appear, as well.

I've seen at TOS2 that any criticism of Israel can be called antisemitic.

The producer Goodman Green and the client BrasscheckTV gave me permission to put this on a clips DVD, if anyone wants some copies.

I now do custom clips DVDs for those that want a couple of hours worth of various youtube clips on a single DVD for friends and neighbors.

Everyone has a favorites collection of youtube clips. Wouldn't it be nice to have twenty DVD copies for grandma, the pastor, the grandkids and that guy at work?

What unbelievably sick B.S.

Sick? Yes. Unbelievable. No.

Most at 4um saw this coming. The Iraq = 9/11 lie worked well enough that it was only a matter of time till the Osama and Islamic terrorists = Home schoolers, tax protestors, and militia nuts.

All those "anti-terror" laws sitting around and so few terrorists to use them on. Easily fixed. Military deserters and tax "cheats" will quickly be lumped in with the guy who wants to strap on a bomb vest.

And like the Soviet Union of the Stalin era you can now be convicted not for what you did or were going to do, but what you might have done.

here is the youtube vid of weitzman's specific testimony regarding 911 truth where he refers to those who claim it was an ''outside job''(?) Posted by user FREEDOMLOST2007, who has a great channel. Many of the copies of this testimony have been deleted from youtube, notice that this clip has only about 700 views. 7 minutes.
