Someone should ask Obama if he would allow open borders for all African-Africans to come here for a better life also.

LOL! Good one. Yes they should. Is he being racial by advocating for one group over another?

Obama's statements were political pandering of the highest order.

I shall send him a f'you, nasty email to follow.

But, all in all, it's an A+ post for you.

You finally fell onto the right side of an issue even though you couldn't resist a bigoted no-sense punch below the belt while you were at it.

Actually, it is far worse than Dobbs says. Both Hillary and Obama have said they would refuse to enforce the borders until Congress passed a Path to Citizenship (i.e. Amnesty.)

The dollar is sinking like a rock because we do not export enough to buy all of our imported oil. Every time we add 10,000,000 people we have to import 100% of the oil they consume. This drives up the price of oil in dollars and drives down our real wages. If we pass Amnesty, we will add 22,000,000 citizens to our population immediately and another 22,000,000 in a few years. That means we will have to print even more dollars to buy oil. At some point the dollar will go into freefall until the price of oil is so high that 50% of all Americans cannot afford to buy gasoline to get to work and we have to live off the oil we can pump domestically.

Obama, Hillary and McCain are all saying that you will be taking a 50% after tax paycut. And, that if you object, you are a racist whose views need not be considered. Lou Dobbs' wife is a Mexican with a lot of Indian ancestors so I doubt he is motivated by racism.

One has to be wary of any person that is free and easy with the descriptive terms "bigot" and "racist".

Keeping with the subject in hand, Obama is talking about a RACE, namely Latinos, and I was talking about African-Africans. When you read bigotry into that you are looking for something to attack someone for, not to discuss anything.

Keep your personal opinions as to what I am to yourself.

I believe the 5% is because of vote fraud. He seemed to have more than 5% support and the numbers of votes in his district just didn't add up.

Actually, it is far worse than Dobbs says. Both Hillary and Obama have said they would refuse to enforce the borders until Congress passed a Path to Citizenship (i.e. Amnesty.)

Naturally, most folks assume that these candidates believe in some undefined right of people to seek a better life, but that's not it at all.

In fact, both parties defend the corporations' "right" to cheap, exploitable labor -people who can be unlawfully locked into fire traps to prevent "inventory shrinkage", disciplined with cattle prods, made to work unpaid overtime and who cannot even complain because of a language barrier that doesn't prevent them from working like slaves, but does minimize redress of grievances regardless of their validity.

The Tyson chicken plant that burned here in DE years ago had the emergency panic exit door hardware disabled and the doors chained to keep employees from swiping a chicken or two for their own hungry families. In a *state that produces 4 billion dollars worth of plump fryers every year there is no plan to supply the lowest workers on the food chain with chickens at cost. That's too much like charity, it isn't tax deductible, and like the Wal Mart bazillionaires the Tyson Foods people just can't spare it. (What are we, Japanese?)

The day that Exxon donates home heating oil to minimize winter killed poor people in America (like Chavez does, that rotten commie bastard!) is the day that Tyson and Wal Mart will let their employees buy necessities at cost.

My former oil company boss told me that he paid taxes and that's all the obligation he has to his employees, and that's why he didn't have a health plan. And, while he was telling me that his Republican buddies were quietly lobbying to eliminate the income tax on corporations and make it a withholding tax only! Yeah, the corporate types would like nothing better than if we worker bees supported the less fortunate among us. But, when Exxon spilled a few billion crankcases full of Alaskan crude in Prince William Sound, they didn't insist that only the rich help the rich. They were downright cheerful at the prospect that taxpayers would subsidize the coast guard, the engineers, wildlife professionals, and as far as I know EXXON never gave the volunteers from Delaware who washed the animals a nickel.

* EDIT The industry encompasses the DelMarVa peninsula. Parts of MD, DE and VA make up the 4 bil per yr industry here.

Dear Iconoclast We still live in the United States, therefore what happens to one state, happens to all. The Illegal invasion isn't limited to the SW (Oh, how I wish it were). In Ohio, where you live, illegals have set up shop as they have here in PA. I pray your liberalism subsides before your kids and grand kids are forced to learn Spanish, but I hold no hope. Your acquaintance to the Wave might assuage your guilt, but it will surely leave your kids knee deep in s**t.

PS: Why is it Obamaphiles have trouble staying on topic? Their kneejerk reaction to criticism of their candidate is a FReeperlike attack of the poster.

Obama has nothing behind his platitudes and neither do his followers.

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.

I am vehemently for protected borders and sovereignty.

Who should my candidate be?

Lamentably the Mexican border seems to have replaced SocSec as "the third rail".

God help us.

Well, certainly it shouldn't be someone - who by his own words - doesn't hold those values.

Damn, well done. There is no one on this forum who appreciates more than I do a simple sentence that speaks volumes. Bravo.

As long as you ain't black or Mexican or Jewish, nothing else is needed.

How do ya feel about us Injuns?

The Ozarks was settled by the Scots-Irish and their attitude has always been, "Don't bother me and I won't bother you." It's more of a "do what you want in private but not in public thing."

The traditional dislike of blacks, Mexicans and Jews has been based on their obnoxious and crimimal behavior.

Branson has a fair amount of gays, due to its being an entertainment center, but you never see them displaying it in public. There are even some Asians there. I've seen what appear to be Chinese girls as waitresses at Lammerts (which is the place where they throw rolls at you from across the room).

The stupider people are the more surprised they are when you kill them.

She wants her panties back as well.

Turtles wearing them. Now he has two pair.

She'll have to get them off of my head!

At least I wear them in private, not public. Well, not yet.

Wrong. If you hate all three traits, you aren't in the Ozarks, you are in your own internal hell. I hope you get a Negro Rabbi of Mexican heritage as your next close neighbor.

There is very little crime here, because nearly everyone is white. Where there are blacks, and Mexicans, and Jews, there is crime, death, and destruction.

There are really no liberals there, either, because liberals also bring those things.

People leave their doors unlocked and neighbors just walk in and out.

Hell is where you live. It's so degraded adults steal bikes, which you have admitted many times.

The stupider people are the more surprised they are when you kill them.

Well, of the three choices we have, Obama is in the lowest favor of Hispanics and Zionists .... if he is nominated and elected he's going to turn one way or the other on these critical issue areas.

It's damn little to cling to but I am not a believer in protest write-ins. If I wrote in anyone's name it would probably be Robt. A Taft, the last politician with whom I feel a full kinship. How silly would that be?

McCain and HRC represent for me utterly perfect examples of the dry rot in our political system ... hence my position and the sentiment in my tag line.

I'll not dispute your claim of of life in a crime free paradise, and if you're happy there, more power to yuh.

I'd add only this. Crime, "living in sin", welfare cheating, fathering and abandoning and/or abusing poor little bastards has become as American as apple pie .... and it's an equal opportunity scene.

This hasn't fallen upon us suddenly. As many as 40+ years ago my uncle had a deer cabin in far northern MI. It became necessary to clear such places,so far as possible, of anything of any value when you were not actually inhabiting them. Break-ins were as regular and predictable as rain from heaven.

And believe me, there wasn't a black, Jew, or Mexican within 200 miles of the area.

I dare say the age old desire to pull one's self up by pushing another group(s) down has a bit to do with it.

No one has to push blacks and Mexicans down. They do it to themselves. If they believe it's being done to them here, they can go back to the homelands.

Oh, wait...white culture is essentially decent and black and Mexican culture isn't...that's why they're moving here and not whites moving there.

As for Jews, they've been expelled over 80 times in less than 2000 years, That's not anti-Semitisim. They're bringing their problems on themselves.

iconoclast, I feel your pain. The lesser of three evils in one hell of a way to cast your vote. I've grown weary of these Hopkins's choices, hence my dropping out. Read what I posted to noone regarding LBJs 1948 senatorial (s)election. Our system reeks.

Obama's hope based campaign has a bittersweet irony to it now that the contest has narrowed down to his opposing two indisputable scoundrels.

I totally hear you, and on a purely selfish note I'd much rather see Obama & Michelle in the WH than the Clinton's. I despise them, whereas Obama hasn't irritated me to any degree as yet.
