African-Americans comprised 13 percent of the United States' population in 2005 but were victims of about 49 percent of all homicides, the Bureau of Justice Statistics recently announced. Of the estimated 16,400 murders committed nationwide in 2005, about 8,000 of them were Black. African-Americans also account for 15 percent of all non-fatal crimes like rape, sexual assault and robbery, with a number of about 805,000 crimes. Most Black homicide victims were killed by a Black offender-93 percent-and about 77 percent involved a firearm. The victims were usually younger than White victims with about half being between ages 17 and 29, in comparison with 37 percent of white victims. Nearly half of homicides against African-Americans took place in densely populated cities with at least 250,000 people. Poster Comment: This seems grossly unfair, but I haven't a clue how to racially norm this statistic out. Help please.....

I think some social justice is called for here. The blacks are killing each other off at too high a rate. This needs to be brought under control. What do you suggest? Forced busing? America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.
#3 This is the absurdity of the argument. Bodies can't be hidden, so these stats are as close to accurate as we can get. And barring a massive conspiracy to put blacks behind bars, they seem to be the ones committing the deed. This can't be spun away.
It can if you bury the numbers and spin the story to look like its "black folks just getting more time" The problem with all of this stuff and the majority of these "studies" and "surveys" and whatnot is that they leave out the context. Your article shows that the black community is actively engaged in killing itself off. Now, the fuzzy-headed among us who actually TRUST the media and don't figure they're lying to us will take these articles and be sympathetic to the perps. The more cynical among us look for what they are leaving out and say "Wait a minute...." Unfortunately, the fuzzy-headed people don't do their research and sling insults when you impugn their emotional cause and actually demand real facts.

yeah.....I mean it's a govt study and our govt is invested in creating a multicultural utopia just as S. Africa did, England and most of Europe did. It's a very dangerous path we're traveling and critical thinking along w/ a healthy dose of life experience will come in handy.
True. Date a Chinese gal for a while and watch what the local Asians do in response and you'll know that it doesn't work. Those guys make the Klan look tame.

Until you substitute the word "men" for "black". When it comes to unorganized violence, blacks are to whites as men are to women.

One time I was arguing with my dad about the plight of the blacks when he turned to me and said "when was the last time you heard that two white guys were caught running away from a black neighborhood carrying stolen TVs under their arms" ??? Black on Black crime is nearly 100 % ... Black on White crime is also very high while White on Black crime is almost non-existent. Living in any metro area subjects people to an increased risk of random acts of violent crime simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think women are prime targets of minorities in large cities. These are realities that the statistics support, not prejudicial bigots making false allegations.
And the men who loan money to governments, so called, for the purpose of enabling the latter to rob, enslave, and murder their people, are among the greatest villains that the world has ever seen. This can't be spun away.
robin's articles show they just end up in jail and leave out the context of the victims, the crimes, or anything that would give you enough data to come to a reasonable conclusion.
