On Friday, the mainstream news media breathlessly announced that Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico endorsed Barack Obama in his run for the Democrat nomination for President of the United States. Putting aside how Richardson stabbed his benefactor in the back hed be just another political hack if it wasnt for former President Bill Clinton and putting aside the fact that the media keep harping on the fact that Richardson is the only Latino governor in the nation, the news media are hyping what is really a self-serving endorsement by a man whos been exposed as a sneak and a liar. For example, remember New Mexicos state of emergency that was declared by Governor Bill Richardson, who at the time was planning a presidential run as a moderate? ,b>Gov. Richardson, observing the chaos created by unbridled illegal immigration in his state, used the situation to criticize President Bush and his Administration. But once one analyzed his strategy during this state of emergency one can only believe Gov. Richardson was full of baloney. Unfortunately, even some conservatives were duped by this former Clintonistas phony state of emergency. Bill OReilly heaped undeserved praise upon Richardson as did Sean Hannity. In addition, some in the blogosphere were all abuzz over a Democrat appearing to move to the right of the Republicans on the issue of illegal immigration. Lets look at Richardsons phony actions to thwart the very real onslaught of the border invasion in Arizona: In order to back local law enforcement, Gov. Richardson sent 56 YES 56 National Guard troops to the Mexican border. Even that number is deceiving. In order to cover one post with one man (or woman) for 24 hours a day, seven days a week requires 4.5 soldiers. So the BIG 56 soldier beef-up translates into about 12 soldiers covering about 180 miles of border at any one time, if you believe that distance is the problem area as stated by Gov. Richardson. Actually, New Mexicos border with Mexico is substantially longer than 180 miles. As a law enforcement executive myself, Ive seen governors deploy more National Guard troops for snowstorms than Gov. Richardson deployed in his phony state of emergency. Meanwhile, the closet-liberal Gov. Richardson signed legislation allowing illegal aliens: (1) access to a college tuition lottery that was supposed to help poor citizens pay for college; (2) access to New Mexico driver licenses; (3) access to free healthcare in hospitals. Hes also a proponent of amnesty and guest-worker programs that actually reward law breakers. He continues to defend his actions in providing these illegal-immigration incentives. The man is a crafty politician and, like his former pal Hillary Clinton, he talks out of both sides of his mouth. Richardsons whole strategy was about getting positive press from the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Bill OReilly, Sean Hannity, and bloggers, while at the same time continuing the DNCs anti-Bush rhetoric. He used Bill Clintons strategy of triangulation, a strategy created by the unscrupulous Dick Morris. Simply, triangulation is taking your opponents issues and making them your own, except they become more of an illusion than a substantial policy. Richardson is banking on becoming the vice-presidential candidate and so hes come out in the midst of Obamas problem with his former pastors anti-America, anti-Semitic rantings to help change the subject, which most of the denizens of the nations newsrooms are more than happy to do. The media are scamming the American public with their cheerleading Obama coverage. Its so obvious that former CBS TV newsman and media critic Bernard Goldberg lamented that the mainstream news media are corrupt. He said this during a debate journalism professor Jane Hall an avowed liberal on Fox News Channels OReilly Factor. And Hall agreed. To do otherwise would have exposed her as being deceptive. Poster Comment: I guess there is some buzz that Richardson was ticked that Clinton didn't warm to a VP spot for him. You'll note a bit of bias in this piece.

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men." -- Samuel Adams (1722-1803)
Yes they are. What's the point of even bringing up immigration in the current WH election, if the candidates all have fundamentally identical positions and histories on the topic? Because it reveals that each of those candidates are working against the will of the people and for the destruction of the middle class. That none of them give a rat's hair about any law abiding citizen. That there is not a two party system, but one of the elites. It reveals that race, gender and war 'heroes' are the masks these monsters wear to fool us all.
