He may not be the bestest but he is CLEARLY and BY FAR the better man. Ron Paul *may* qualify for bestest, which speaks volumes about the standard politicians. As for the worstest, McCain could very well qualify. On the ongoing argument of Cain vs Obama vs Hillary, we already know Cain will be horrible. With Obama, we can at least afford some doubts that he'll be as bad as Cain. Whoever wins will inherit a disaster though, and I predict will be only a 1 term pres.
no, vast, you misunderstand. he's not my choice. my choice is Ron Paul. i'll never again vote for a candidate from either of the two parties. i said that i hope that Obama is the selection so that we have the opportunity to see who is right and who is wrong about him. and let me assure you that if i am wrong, i will happily accept the 'i told you SOs'.
Oh, but, of course, you can never fully trust a human. I maintain 'unlikely' but I would not go as far as 'very unlikely'. He MIGHT order some bombs dropped on Sudan. It's not likely but it's possible. However, I can't see him considering nukeing anyone while McCain probably dreams of mushroom clouds and Hillary would view dropping the big one as a way of her claiming her manhood.

I agree that Mr. Paul is the better man. However, he dropped out, or so it seems. He refused to listen to my advice of going independent BEFORE the primaries. We still have Bob Barr, a man for whom I have an enormous respect. I might vote for Mr. Barr if he manages to get himself registered in PA. We shall see. And, a gentle reminder - you said you would never support one of the '2 parties'. Well... Mr. Paul would have been a candidate of the GOPs (one of the 2 parties) had he won the GOP nomination.

I don't want to call anyone 'a racist', even though I have no problem calling myself so - I would NOT move into a black neighborhood, for example, and I would not be happy if many blacks began moving into mine which makes me a racist - but there are degrees of racism on a scale that ranges from 'healthy' (my kind) to 'sick'. I see Lou Dobbs (a most confused man) turning into a Clintonist only because he wants Obama to lose. I believe he wants him to lose because Obama dared diss him, calling the Dobbs name in the same sentence that had Rush and some other idiots in it. Somehow, being dissed by Obama left an open, festering wound, or so it seems.

Wish I had kept track of the names people have appended, plus the descriptions of my intelligence etc. Most were bad, maybe one or two could be termed questionable. In this rant there is a nugget of truth about human nature. Namely, in my long life, other than the military, I recall only one or two people that have had the effrontery to speak their minds in front of me in a derogatory manner. However, on the internet there is no such limit as to the vitriol unleashed. Shrinks say it has something to do with being able to hide and say bad things without punishment. Human nature.

Pay close attention to what he's saying and you may be able to detect the statist, hiding under several layers of populism and emotional outrages. His dream state is a most efficient and orderly state - efficient border control is only the beginning - where commerce, income, individual behavior, just about everything are tightly regulated and maintained within the proper standards of decency and efficiency. He doesn't like the Iraq situation but mostly because it was not well-thought and because it proves to be wasteful. He seems to believe that Iran is our enemy and anything worse than our invasion and occupation of Iraq is Iran's gaining influence in 'our' Iraq. Oh, and don't get me started on his 99% so-called polls.
