Before Hiliary would let Chelsea campaign for her run for president, Hiliary told her she had one important question to ask and she wanted an honest answer. The question Hiliary asked was to avoid a scandal hitting the news. She asked Chelsea if she had sex with her dates. Chelsea's reply. Not according to dad.

She was here at Penn St yesterday and 300 kids showed up for her urp. Obama had 22,000 on Main's lawn last week. Ron Paul is coming tonight, and I'll bring the Mrs. for a taste of real America First politics, followed by a pizza :)

Both Obama and C's Mama have been to Eugene. Barack Obama showed up just before spring break, spoke to a huge, overflowing and energized student crowd and had enough tables and volunteers to sign up the huge number of new volunteers willing to do so.

Hil showed up last week and spoke to a packed high school auditorium. The crowd was older with much of the leadership Eugene's epically huge lesbian community, many of whom find Hil wet and wild. (uuuugggh!)

There was one volunteer sign up table with more talking then signing up going on. When I worked at the Obama table at Saturday Market later that day, I had received training (redundant in my case) on how to move people along in a friendly way to make sure you signed up or talked to everyone interested.

The Register Guard had a small, "oh look, Barack's here" sort of coverage, but for Hil there was a 'WOW!' headline about Oregon in frenzy for Hil complete with pictures of misty eyed older women clutching lawn signs.

It was an interesting contrast. Obama is more organized and the right stuff trickles down to the public contact level in ways I've never seen before before the primary.

I am not surprised by the Register Guard's slant. They have a tough road to hoe being owned by the Baker family locally who are part of Eugene's embattled and encircled Republican minority.

I expected this Machiavellian aspect to the coverage. The Ron Paul lawn signs people put up tend to still be there, as Paul supporters are a very stubborn and resolute political entity here.

Ron Paul was also the only name you could mention in "we hate all the major political party" people in the activist community I belong too without the obligatory eye rolling.

In savvy circles he seems to have unprecedented respect and people listen to him. It has so far been an interesting political season in terms of what I see in reaction from the locals.

We have the Olympic Trials coming up and being a 'seedy looking long hair' I have already been stopped by green cops who don't know me yet well on campus.

They are giving the homeless community the treatment reserved for times the University of Oregon frets about the endangerment of the flow of money and prestige from this high profile event.

(Yes we are going to piss them off by protesting the treatment of Tibet. (Wish I could say more.) ;-D

Every stop I had they called in their supervisor as I always refuse to sit on the curb or give information.

And as usual that supervisor sees it's me, talks to the young goober, wishes me a nice day and I leave. So it goes.

Where are all of Hillary's votes coming from? Aging lesbians are the only people who actually seem to like Hillary and identify with her, so you'd think that would be her only contituency.

I know one retired waitress who eats at the Food For lane County family dinner site I work at who supports the Hil because of an arcane faith in the experience of someone so sexy hubby has to stain the intern's dress in the Oval Orifice.

I can't move her away from this support so I merely empathize with the part of her hungry to see someone of her gender in the White House tired of the patriarchal aspects of this country which always has been very 'Man's World' and let it go when I run into this in a Hil supporter.

Hil boosters like her hard to crack when talking politics with them. The hunger to see a woman POTUS is very strong. And using the argument the first should not be the shrill, self-centered wife of an unscrupulous president seems not to make a dent in their choice of her as their candidate.

You should tell them that if Hillary is the first woman President, she'll also be the last.

Last week I noticed 5 hiliary signs in the same yard about 1/2 from my home. As a Ron Paul supporter and active campaign worker here in Pennsylvania, I stopped across the street asking if they would allow me to post a 4 footx 8 foot Ron Paul sign. The answer was a resounding no. The property owner said he and his partner supported hiiary. He was so frigging gay it was nauseating to say the least.

I'm still shaking my head. Somebody gave these perverted bastards an inch and they have taken more than a mile and then some. Astounding to say the least!
