By Grand Junction Free Press GRAND JUNCTION — Police Friday afternoon arrested two people carrying peace signs who allegedly tried to enter a closed roadway near a private political fundraiser with Vice President Dick Cheney. Jacob Richards and Mallory Rice were arrested on obstruction allegations — they allegedly refused to move from a closed-off area on Beaver Lodge Rd. and G 1/2 Rd., just north of the event. The two were holding peace signs cut from poster board. Both were transported to the Mesa County Jail.

Oh the horror, they trespassed trying to protest an illegal and immoral war and those who would never let their kids fight in such an exercise to turn national defense into foreign entanglements for political profit by a few made sure they went to jail. The truth is dangerous, so naturally these thugs had to have these men arrested. Only the threat was not their presence on that road, it was the words on their signs and on their lips that do not accept the official lies that were the dire danger here. There is no doubt at all about that.
