I'm thinking we have some died in the wool Ds, and that might explain, in part, the Obama pimping.

Not that the left is w/o buzz words. Here's a small sample; Share, biosphere, gender norming, fair share, racial inequity, diversity, tolerance.
As a Paleocon/Paleolibertarian I do not fit into either of the two horns of the Hegelian Parties and that suits me fine. I spit upon the hierarchy of both of the major 1 1/2 Parties - the fraud of what I call the Republicrats. Both of the so-called "Parties" are controlled at the top by the same Banking interests who have subverted and perverted our Republic. I find the McClinton-Obummer choices to be non-choices. It is just a matter of which Psychotic is less worse than the others.

I agree there is a slight difference too. However, perhaps what really matters is the degree of goodness and decency in the leader(s) of a country, less than the form of govt. Which is not to say, I would welcome a benevolent dictator.

Ecotopia is the title of a book by Earnest Callenbach. Not many support the succession to form a laid back Red China as happens in that particular novel. You actually live in U.S. occupied Cascadia. ;-)
My fear is that we will have four more years of Bush in the form of McCain. I will cast my vote wherever I think it will be most effective in stopping this. Going by the record of the past 7.5 years, I would prefer to take a chance with either Democratic candidate than to continue on our present course - which is what McCain has promised us. Given what McCain has promised, voting for McCain ratifies the Bush policies and McCain would come to power with what he believes is a genuine mandate to continue them. All in all, a very dangerous situation. I also think the plutocratic 2% who control small town America know the jig is up. We're in for a crash. They'll be front page pictures of bread lines and of the helicopter on the roof of the Baghdad embassy soon. McCain is old and sick and he'll be gone soon, so he can absorb the blame and then die. Fox News and the rest of the goob foolers have already assured the people in Wichita and hick Pennsylvania that McCain isn't a real conservative and he isn't one of them, so the failure can be easily disowned when it comes. The veep choice is the interesting one - he's the one that will be chosen to protect he plutocracy.

I agree 100% with you. I'm a registered Republican. I used to be a very loyal republican who shilled for them among the citizenry and even worked for some in campaigns, gave money, etc. I began to doubt the Republicans in 1989 when I was reading in the Wall Street Journal about things that George HW Bush was actually doing as president. He was pursuing big-government, etc. that he had railed against in the campaign. You have to question liars. Finally in 2001 when I saw GW Bush double spending on the department of education and go for new laws enhancing federal government stranglehold on schools that I finally turned against the republicans. But the demos are no good either. They work for the same people who rule us as the Repubs do. If we selected 1000 citizens at random and gave them jobs randomly as president, vice president, congressman, senator, cabinet member, etc. then we would do much much better than we are doing now with powerful monied interests dominating us.

Most of that 2% haven't a clue as to what is really occurring. They are just stolid, materialistic, and afraid of losing their toy collection and the false respect that money brings. Only about the upper one tenth of 1 percent, or less, really have any clear idea of the game being played. If the Globalist/Bankster plans come to fruition most of that 2% will be "liquidated" as a threat to "their betters". Some might be allowed to live as overseers and such but the true elite want no threat, real or perceived, to their megalomaniacal intentions.

mcCain's choice should be interesting. i'm still thinking that it could very well be lieberman. that could very well be the plan of the PTB.
For me it was about '86 with the Tax increases and roll back of the Reagan Tax cuts (as an aside I figured out about that time that Reagan was suffering from the onset of Alzheimer's - when Nancy had to prompt him as to what to say to reporters when disembarking Marine One) that inspired a boom in the economy. It was clear to me that the boom was upsetting the elites as a lot of people were making hay and rapidly amassing fortunes which made them players. Real Charities, not just the phony Red Cross, were getting massive infusions of Philanthropic cash - which gave the ability to counter eugenics kill-offs of "useless eaters". The Global elite, Rothschilds-Rockefuckers et. al., did not want anyone to rise to a position which could allow a well intended wealthy individual to begin opposing their plans - which have been in place since at least the early 1800's if not before. Agreed without reservation.

Well many, if not most, Republicans have not had a problem with calling Democrats communists for many years ... it appears obvious to me that they aren't very close to calling Republicans the fascist plutocrats that they have morphed into.
