I thought this way for a while, but I've returned to my belief that there is a political left and right. They aren't as crisply defined, but there is a difference.

Well many, if not most, Republicans have not had a problem with calling Democrats communists for many years ... it appears obvious to me that they aren't very close to calling Republicans the fascist plutocrats that they have morphed into.

I agree with both of your points. Many Ds are socialists, and many Rs are fascists. Those that are neither are uninformed clods, useless eaters if you will.
