Poster Comment:

The more people see of Obama the less they like. Has everyone at 4um heard that:

Obama voted to make it illegal for homeowners to use a gun to protect themselves against home invasions?

Obama voted twice to make it legal to kill babies born alive due to a mistake in a partial birth abortion. He made it lawful in Illinois to incinerate babies who were born after a partial birth abortion's failure.

There are other votes and statements out there. He was gaining in Pennsylvania until he opened his mouth.

12 days ago I posted an article showing Obama'a big momentum in Pennsylvania. At that time I was hoping he could finally do Hillary in, but now I am not so sure.

The SUSA poll a week ago had her with an 18-point lead.

I have always assumed she would win Pennsylvania by about 20 points and, frankly, she has to do so.

She has to do more than that. She's got win by that much in pretty much all the remaining states.

She won't. Winning by that much in PA would likely only prolong her trainwreck.

You misunderestimate (lol) the damage BO did to himself by his weekend gaffe. Essentially if you're anti-immigration, you're bitter. I don't think the educated anti-illegal immigrant folk will go for that. All Hillary has to do is very publically and soon sign up Gore for the VP spot and she's in. Run on the alternative energy investment bubble for the rest of her presidency.

Yep. Obama is cooked. Hillary has won all the big, essential states anyway.

Okay, we'll have to wait and see. Obama, however, can lose all the remaining states and still take the nomination. All that's required is he not lose that badly.

The math is stacked heavily against Hillary at this point. Obama's had lots of attention but I think if it starts to look like Hillary has a chance again, her own hypocrisy and policies will be back in the light.

Odds still strongly favor Obama, according to the people willing to put money on the election.

No it isn't. The super delegates are part of the equation and they will favor the most electable candidate, which right now sure the heck isn't Obama. Also Florida and Michigan lost their say by moving their primaries up and both of those states would have gone to Hillary. Hillary will get the nomination barring some major blunder on her part before the convention. The Obama followers can throw fits and riot, but that is the most likely outcome right now.

Not like I really give a crap either way. But a lot of 4Um posters are starting to show they are more anti-Republican than they are pro-freedom and it makes me sick. Having their adopted poster boy go down to defeat would serve them right.

Of the 3, I prefer Obama take it. The USA is screwed no matter which of the 3 wins. Given that, it makes sense to prefer the one that is least likely to start WWIII and otherwise end the imperialism. I know its probable that Obama won't bring all the troops home, but Cain will increase imperialism and bombing.

As a country, the USA has deeply injured the world and it's a national obligation to right that wrong as much as possible. For us to try to safeguard our 2nd Amendment rights at the expense of lives of innocents worldwide doesn't fly in my book.

Again, since the USA is gonna die anyway no matter which of the 3 it is, the least we can do is die alone and let the rest of world be. I won't vote for Obama as it's much more beneficial such as it is to vote for Ron Paul or Bob Barr, but that's my position and preference.

No spinning Pin. I didn't think you could vote as a citizen of Ecuador anyway. But as an ex-pat, you left for a reason. And maybe it was to see us destroyed from within and without.

As foreign nations continue to buy us on the cheap, consider, that veiled benevolence will cease.

That you suggest any here would go about shooting innocents, is deplorable. I'm really shocked at that. You would not continue to maintain a site that promoted such, IMO.

I really don't understand, but then, maybe I do.

Oh it is? Guess what, Peppa. Innocents are getting shot at, and somehow I'm the koolaid drinker because I want it to stop.

Apparently I'm alone on that score.

Yes, I understand that.

Oh it is? Guess what, Peppa. Innocents are getting shot at, and somehow I'm the koolaid drinker because I want it to stop.

And only outlaws keep guns. The innocents are disarmed. You know that.

And yes, 'we' are aware there is a war going on. I have 3 cousins, very young, snagged up in that, and one home a year now with an injury the gov. will not treat.

You think we don't know what the con is?

Again, if you believe that sacrificing liberties, will ensure security here, there, or anywhere, you might have lost a lesson of the Founding Fathers in school.

You may not want war, but it want's you.

That you should imagine that less freedom is an even exchange, is confusing.

Have you family in Iraq, Afgh, too? Are there not bases everywhere to ensure your obedience to the ruling class?

Very sorry to hear that. I myself got a friend going in later this year for his first tour.

Again, if you believe that sacrificing liberties, will ensure security here, there, or anywhere, you might have lost a lesson of the Founding Fathers in school.

I'm not promoting the sacrifice of liberties. To the contrary I'm promoting liberties. It seems what's different is I'm promoting them for everyone.

That you should imagine that less freedom is an even exchange, is confusing.

What's the problem here? All I said was that killing innocent people is NOT a proper means to secure rights and everyone accuses me of being a communist!!

Then maybe a clarifying statement from you re: 2a for the rest of us might be comforting. It was most confusing to me, as it suggested that by taking it away would somehow protect innocents blasted to pieces in the war. I don't know of one person that thinks that is okay. Maybe Freepers, and the kill them all and let Allah sort it out crowd, but not me, and no one I've seen here.

What's the problem here? All I said was that killing innocent people is NOT a proper means to secure rights and everyone accuses me of being a communist!!

I guess I didn't see anyone accuse you of being a commie.. But commies and marxists want a disarmed society. So by extention, supporting a candidate(s) that furthers the elimination of the 2A, a bite at a time, is communisim growing stronger a bite at a time.

I have no idea what you mean here.

I mean, that governments are run by the ruling class. To ensure their protection, they disarm and repress their own citzenry from rebellion.

Never said that. I didn't do it nobody saw me do it you can't prove anything.

All I said was that the USA is going down, and given that it's going down, the best moral thing we can do is abandon the imperial state ASAP so that no more innocent people die. Since Obama appears to be the candidate most likely to draw down the empire he'd be the moral candidate of choice in spite of all else including whatever his stance is on the 2A. Further, anyone that would choose to further promote the killing of innocent people in order to preserve the 2A for himself is a tyrant. "Freedom for me but not for thee" is not for me.

I guess I didn't see anyone accuse you of being a commie..

Ummm.... you apparently missed FOH's insulting pics of Karl Marx.

But commies and marxists want a disarmed society. So by extention, supporting a candidate(s) that furthers the elimination of the 2A, a bite at a time, is communisim growing stronger a bite at a time.

The USA is a corpse waiting to fall over. Financially, it's most likely that the country is done. The Constitution has been shot to hell. Talk of "preserving rights" might simply be a mere vain echo of better times long past. Ergo, it may well be time to recalibrate our priorities. Seems to me stopping the killing should rank high on the list.

Pin, I'm not your enemy. Thanks for clarifying. Seems a bunch of people here aren't so sure.

Thanks.

You made the statement Pin. To safeguard the 2A at the expense of the innocents. As if that's what its intent is, as well as those that believe in its original intent. Your statement was nonsense. Sorry, it was. And has nothing to do with the war. But it does have to do with survival of other innocents. I can't make it any more clear.

There is enough blame for attrocities to go around for everyone. What if I were to say, stop food deliveries in Ecuador, as it feeds criminals. Would that be a true statement?
