April 14, 2008 - Pennsylvania Democratic Primary Preference Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama 48% to 44% among men (45% of likely Democratic primary voters). Among women, Clinton leads 64% to 31%. Clinton leads 64% to 29% among white voters (82% of likely Democratic primary voters). Obama leads 79% to 18% among African American voters (14% of likely Democratic primary voters). Clinton leads 52% to 43% among voters age 18 to 49 (50% of likely Democratic primary voters) and Clinton leads 62% to 31% among voters age 50 and older. 10% of all likely Democratic primary voters say they would never vote for Hillary Clinton in the primary and 24% of likely Democratic primary voters say they would never vote for Barack Obama in the primary. 23% of likely Democratic primary voters say that excessive exposure to Obama's advertising is causing them to support Clinton. Poster Comment: The more people see of Obama the less they like. Has everyone at 4um heard that: Obama voted to make it illegal for homeowners to use a gun to protect themselves against home invasions? Obama voted twice to make it legal to kill babies born alive due to a mistake in a partial birth abortion. He made it lawful in Illinois to incinerate babies who were born after a partial birth abortion's failure. There are other votes and statements out there. He was gaining in Pennsylvania until he opened his mouth. 12 days ago I posted an article showing Obama'a big momentum in Pennsylvania. At that time I was hoping he could finally do Hillary in, but now I am not so sure.

The SUSA poll a week ago had her with an 18-point lead. I have always assumed she would win Pennsylvania by about 20 points and, frankly, she has to do so.

We white trash here in Pa. did in fact take offense to the words of Obama. Obama better take his seat in the back of the bus or he will be walking politically.

Obama, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, has a well- established history of hostility toward hunters, sportsmen, and other law-abiding firearm owners. For example, in 2003, Obama voted in support of SB1195, which, if passed, would have banned most of the privately held hunting shotguns, target rifles, and black powder rifles in the state. If the ban was enacted, law enforcement officials would have been authorized to forcibly enter private homes to confiscate newly banned firearms. SB2165 was drafted to protect homeowners from prosecution in cases where they used a firearm to halt a home invasion. Obama's steadfast opposition to SB2165 is indicative of his misplaced priorities on issues of self-defense and personal firearm ownership. Adding even further skepticism to Obama's claim of support for the 2nd Amendment is his previous service as a director of the Joyce Foundation. Since 2000, the Joyce Foundation has provided over $15 Million in funding to radical gun control organizations such as the Violence Policy Center and the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence. The Joyce Foundation is tightly linked to the Soros Open Society Institute -- an extremist group that advocates a worldwide ban on civilian firearm ownership. OI... Just for fun consider this... If Obama wins, McKooK takes Clinton on board as VP. Sure winner as pundits say over a third of clinton voters will vote McKooK if Obama wins.
That would probably win, and then McInsane would have to retire due to "health concerns" leaving Hitlery as Preznit. However, it might be too discordant with the ongoing PsyOps manipulations controlling public perception and reaction. Of course I have misunderestimated the gullibility of the Sheeple before.

A device is inserted into the infant's skull and the brains are sucked out and the skull collapsed. The the rest of the infant is extracted. There are NO live births from a partial birth abortion. I have posted one article by Gerson from the Washington Post. I have been tracking this down in Illinois but I have no response as yet. Hospital waste is incinerated. If Gerson had just made this up, some of Obama's supporters in D.C. would have seen it and demanded a retraction. I am voting for Ron Paul in November unless Bob Barr is on the Libertarian ticket. I began posting this info on Obama to prove the point that we need more primaries and fewer caucuses.

PA is a major hunting state. I think they close the schools on the first day of hunting season in PA.
I have always assumed she would win Pennsylvania by about 20 points and, frankly, she has to do so. She has to do more than that. She's got win by that much in pretty much all the remaining states. She won't. Winning by that much in PA would likely only prolong her trainwreck.
That would be fine with Rush, Hannity and O'Really, since Hillary would be a Republican then.

There is no medical care given to sustain the life of a non-viable infant. No effective medical care exists. That does not amount to killing babies. As stated by your source Jill Stanek in her testimony to Congress, "The method of abortion that Christ Hospital uses is called 'induced labor abortion,' also now known as 'live birth abortion.' This type of abortion can be performed different ways, but the goal always is to cause a pregnant woman's cervix to open so that she will deliver a premature baby who dies during the birth process or soon afterward." The goal, of course, is to deliver an unborn fetus. In other abortions, the unborn fetus has its brains sucked out, its skull collapsed, and may be dismembered and extracted piece by piece. By the time it fully exits the mother's body, it is very dead. An Illinois law of 2005 defines born alive "to mean the complete expulsion or extraction from the mother of an infant, at any stage of development, who after that expulsion or extraction breathes or has a beating heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, regardless of whether the umbilical cord has been cut and regardless of whether the expulsion or extraction occurs as a result of natural or induced labor, cesarean section, or induced abortion." While any part of the baby or fetus is in utero it has not been born alive. Babies are not born alive after a partial birth abortion. If you can document a baby that survived having its brains vacuumed out, please do so. If everything but the head is sticking out, Illinois law explicitly holds that there has been no born alive birth. The Nebraska law was crushed by the Supreme Court in June 2000. Obama objected to the Illinois bill because it was unconstitutional, as phrased. Illinois passing an unconstitutional law would waste time and taxpayer money as did the Nebraska law. The Supreme Court in Carhart v. Stenberg, 530 U.S. 914 (2000), decided June 28, 2000: We shall set them forth in the language of the joint opinion in Casey. First, before "viability ... the woman has a right to choose to terminate her pregnancy." Id., at 870 (plurality opinion). Second, "a law designed to further the State's interest in fetal life which imposes an undue burden on the woman's decision before fetal viability" is unconstitutional. Id., at 877. An "undue burden is ... shorthand for the conclusion that a state regulation has the purpose or effect of placing a substantial obstacle in the path of a woman seeking an abortion of a nonviable fetus." Ibid. Third, "'subsequent to viability, the State in promoting its interest in the potentiality of human life may, if it chooses, regulate, and even proscribe, abortion except where it is necessary, in appropriate medical judgment, for the preservation of the life or health of the mother.'" Id., at 879 (quoting Roe v. Wade, supra, at 164-165). We apply these principles to a Nebraska law banning "partial birth abortion." The statute reads as follows: We hold that this statute violates the Constitution. * * * II The question before us is whether Nebraska's statute, making criminal the performance of a "partial birth abortion," violates the Federal Constitution, as interpreted in 930 Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pa. v. Casey, 505 U. S. 833 (1992), and Roe v. Wade, 410 U. S. 113 (1973). We conclude that it does for at least two independent reasons. First, the law lacks any exception "'for the preservation of the ... health of the mother.''' Casey, 505 U. S., at 879 (plurality opinion). Second, it "imposes an undue burden on a woman's ability" to choose a D&E abortion, thereby unduly burdening the right to choose abortion itself. Id., at 874.
She is not going to pull a 20 percent win in Pennsylvania. The way polls and election results gets skewed in this world where results trump honesty and doing things ethically one truly never knows what to expect. But Pennsylvania has not seen that huge of a change in that short of a time so close to the primary election. That is ridiculous and as you say, a win there is not going to make the super delegates dread long months of waiting in trepidation for the next Bill Blooper, story about management problems with her campaign, or stop people from slowly recalling the down side of the Hil-Billy years. This story does not bother me. I like Obama, and still support him getting the nomination.

I don't think the educated anti-illegal immigrant folk will go for that. All Hillary has to do is very publically and soon sign up Gore for the VP spot and she's in. Okay, we'll have to wait and see. Obama, however, can lose all the remaining states and still take the nomination. All that's required is he not lose that badly. The math is stacked heavily against Hillary at this point. Obama's had lots of attention but I think if it starts to look like Hillary has a chance again, her own hypocrisy and policies will be back in the light. Odds still strongly favor Obama, according to the people willing to put money on the election.

Three established principles determine the issue before us.
"No partial birth abortion shall be performed in this state, unless such procedure is necessary to save the life of the mother whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself." Neb. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 28-328(1) (Supp. 1999).
The statute defines "partial birth abortion" as: "an abortion procedure in which the person performing the abortion partially delivers vaginally a living unborn child before killing the unborn child and completing the delivery." § 28-326(9).
It further defines "partially delivers vaginally a living unborn child before killing the unborn child" to mean "deliberately and intentionally delivering into the vagina a living unborn child, or a substantial portion thereof, for the purpose of performing a procedure that the person performing such procedure knows will kill the unborn child and does kill the unborn child." Ibid.
The law classifies violation of the statute as a "Class III felony" carrying a prison term of up to 20 years, and a fine of up to $25,000. §§ 28-328(2), 28-105. It also provides for the automatic revocation of a doctor's license to practice medicine in Nebraska. § 28-328(4).
