I don't really get off on the song parodies, but I did glance through them a little. and I see you're just as frustrated as me over our situation. I can totally relate.

just as feedback on the cartoon - I concur with you that policy in the US has discouraged domestic oil production, but I'm of a view that it is not sound concern for the environment that has caused this. Its more diabolical than that IMHO.
