I don't really get off on the song parodies, but I did glance through them a little. and I see you're just as frustrated as me over our situation. I can totally relate. just as feedback on the cartoon - I concur with you that policy in the US has discouraged domestic oil production, but I'm of a view that it is not sound concern for the environment that has caused this. Its more diabolical than that IMHO.
I'm not saying Big Oil ain't complicit, but it is the RATbot Envirowhackos who continue to receive the credit for decreased domestic oil production here in America. It's high time to blow the lid off that silliness and expose Big Oil as co-conspirators if they are helping the Envirowhackos artificially curtail production. Regards...MUD
I agree that the 'environmentalist' movement has a bad agenda frequently. I think their leadership is 'under the influence'. they encourage government regulation in the name of the environment that don't help the environment and do much harm is my impression. Meanwhile there are very real things being done that destroy the environment and yet nobody cares including the so-called environmentalists.
Please explain...as an avid conservationist, I am eager to learn where America is dropping the ball...MUD

I saw 2 articles that both said basically the same thing. one was an article about a study done at St. Louis University. The other was an article about a study done by a Canadian university. in both cases the academics simply took plain water and put in the water the same quantity/proportion of ritalin as what already exists in either the Mississippi River or the Canadian rivers. and in each study as a result of the ritalin in the water the fish they tried to raise became gender-confused. They developed sex organs of both genders and were unable to reproduce propertly. In the fresh water rivers of North America they have drugs like ritalin, prozac, etc, all the drugs prescribed by doctors. These drugs do not break down after they go down the toilet in the urine. It ends up in the ground- water and in the rivers, eventually in the oceans. and these things cause the fish to be unable to reproduce. and it is documented that this is true. also, we have genetically modified foods which are very dangerous. Because they inter-mix with the natural plants and damage them. They have that terminator gene that makes the seeds unable to reproduce. Many experts have concluded that this is just like russian roullette with the environment. Global warming (if it exists) is not really going to harm the environment much. But GM foods can do so. also, as you know the oceans today only produce about 10% of the food they produced 500 years ago in that 90% of the wildlife in the oceans is now gone. and there are huge areas of the oceans that are considered 'dead', unable to support life. This did not used to be the case. So, I contend that there are very real dangers to the environment in that we people may be taking actions which could destroy the earth's ability to even support life in the long run. Yet nobody cares. the environmental movement is leading us down some wild-goose chases and thus rendering useless the concerns that people have over the environment. Al Gore IMHO is just a plant by the people who rule us. The people who rule us really are destroying the environment. they know it and they basically don't care.
