Tomorrow’s Clinton Commercial Today By: John Cole April 17, 2008 at 9:10 am Via the Powerline: On Sunday, Aaron Klein and John Batchelor interviewed Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas, on WABC radio. The interview produced a scoop which, for some reason, has not been widely publicized: Hamas has endorsed Barack Obama for President. Yousef said, “We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election.” Why? “He has a vision to change America.” Maybe Yousef has some insight into what Obama means by all these vague references to “change.” And who can blame her if she does run with this? I mean, after all, Rush Limbaugh is gonna ask this question in the fall, so we better get it out there right now. Obama now leads among the elected super delegates, apparently she is feeling more and more like she has nothing to lose with silly gambits like this.
Is this why Obama criticized Jimmy Carter for meeting with Hamas? I hope the Obama team is working on how to handle this hot potato. It reminds me of the Ron Paul campaign being smeared for having racist supporters.

She's wrong, she is only helping McCain at this point. There is this though, the earlier the negatives are known the better. The Dems haven't even started on McCain.

I am unaware of any connection between him and racism. I associate racism more with the kind of people who say they would not have voted against Hitler, and who say things that suggest they believe that the Weimar Republic was as bad as, or worse than, the Third Reich.

She is desperate, as she knows quite well how this sort of crap plays badly with super delegates, the people who will have the final say in who wins the Democratic nomination. If McNasty beats Obama in the general because of her fratricidal attacks, she will find the Senate a far less friendly club for her to belong to. At least with her fellow Democrats that is.
