We made it at the Commons building by 7:20 or 7:30, the entire family, minus the 2 pups. I was voter number 6 and Ms. was number 7. All I had to do was to sign on the sheet, because I had voted before. Ms. AVRWC had to produce a photo ID because it was the first time she was voting in this county.

There were 3 touch screen machines and no one else using them. We were allowed to let the kids watch. I picked up Obama for the Demo prez and I nominated my dead dog for Attorney General. He would make a good one if he wins the election. After that, I was supposed to pick 5 delegates for Obama from a list of... about 5. Maybe there were 6. The demo rules were that you were supposed to pick 3 guys and 2 gals or 3 gals and 2 guys but they were not showing pictures of their genitals so it was a difficult task, judging by the names only. What's 'Sidney' for example, or even 'Carmen' (I have a guy at work named Carmen)? That didn't matter because I wrote in my own nominees. The 3 kids and our 2 pups. Since I have a girl, and one of our puppies is a girl 2, we should be okay as far as the gender balance.

When we were done, the voting boss says "thank you, come back any time". To which I said "can I come back in 5 minutes and vote again?". To which he said "sure, if you vote for the right one".

This ended my political participation today.

If you follow Limbaugh into supporting Hillary, it's dead cert that you will follow him into supporting McCain, when that's what he tells you to do.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

You don't?

Didn't you just say "Operation Chaos ROCKS"?

And take a look at the cartoon you just posted.

When you voted for Romney in the Virginia GOP Primary, wasn't that while Limbaugh was supporting Romney and still opposing McCain?

I slept later than usual related to a semi enlarged prostate and one particular troubling nightmare. I dreamt that this experiment called America was on life support, thanks to those “enemies domestic” we’ve been warned about for so many years. The new enemies within in my dream were all once former political kindred spirits, moving toward freedom as one unit, slowly, using the Constitution as our guiding light. For reasons unknown to me they tossed their core principles out the window and flocked to a candidate who promised a large dose of central government in exchange for a promise. Despite my best effort to expose his past political positions, the newly converted made a hard left away from freedom and headed straight to the promise of hope and socialism. The only conclusion I could come to for their sudden irrationality was that they - all being white - had succumbed to White Guilt, a strange psychological disorder best described by Shelby Steele, ironically a black man. One hallmark of this disease is denial, so any hope of a self assessment was useless. They’d have to hit bottom before any sense of awareness could seep in.

Finally, thankfully, I got up and headed to the hot coffee. The nightmare had ended, but actually it had just begun. The deluded remain so, while those of us who try and break through their fog sit in amazement at their political 180.

And no, I won’t be voting today…..tomorrow…..or ever again.

In my state, or it might be a county rule, whether you voted in past elections determines whether you are qualified to vote on local referendums. So I vote every time whether it is worth it or not.

Don't kid yourself. Rush is shilling for the Clintons because he wants them in office again. His ratings are highest when he is slamming the Clintons, and Rush would love a return to the good ol' days of the 1990s.

Rush supports McCain. Rush would never contradict the Republican party.

Rush had to disown McCain to get the taint of Bush and the GOP off of him.

And this charade doesn't really hurt McCain because Rush can just order morons like yourself to vote for the guy when the time comes - and you will obey. Just like you did in 2004 with Bush.

The reason your party kicks you in the teeth is because it can. You're just a tool. And the party knows the you and the rest of the Fox News audience are too dumb to figure this out.
