WASHINGTON — One of President Nixon’s daughters, Julie Nixon Eisenhower, apparently supports a Democrat in this year’s presidential contest — Barack Obama.

Eisenhower has contributed the maximum amount allowed during the primary season to Obama’s campaign: $2,300. Federal Election Commission records show she gave Obama’s campaign $1,000 on Feb. 4, another $1,000 on Feb. 18 and $300 on March 5.

One of her father’s staunchest defenders during the Watergate scandal, she married the grandson of another Republican president, David Eisenhower, just before her father took office.

Since her father’s resignation, she has written several books and is now co-chair of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Birthplace Foundation. Subscribe to *Obama Reality Check*

To my knowledge, Julie's not a crook - why would BHO give her jack back?

lod... I admit to being a cynic...

Just for your info please read the below, same people, giving money to Bush and McKooK.

There is only one party lod, just one. And they have the jack and the names.

"Julie Nixon Eisenhower, who wrote a biography of her mother and is active in civic causes in the Philadelphia area, has given sporadically over the years to Republican candidates and committees, according to campaign finance records. She gave $1,000 to President Bush and another $1,000 to the Republican National Committee, for instance, in the 2004 election cycle. In the 2000 presidential race, she donated $1,000 to Senator John McCain’s unsuccessful run.

Money in the one party system buys influence and if you have a name, that adds ten fold of what you donated.

The daughter of the only President forced out of office to avoid jail is tainted money and name looking to buy influence.

I voted twice for Nixon.

Hey, in 1968 I was 14 and a Nixon supporter myself. I was going to a pretty spendy private school and influenced by my peers. It makes me understand to a good degree why 14 year olds don't get the vote. ;-)

Even supported and voted for Goldwater, boy did I take a beating on that one.

Amazing part that I never understood, as the war dragged on I could not find a soul that voted for Johnson, yet he had the highest vote total in history, but no one voted for him, amazing.
