( WASHINGTON, D.C. ) – Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) today criticized the Pope’s comments regarding U.S. immigration policy. According to reports, Pope Benedict XVI said the United States must do “everything possible to fight ... all forms of violence so that immigrants may lead dignified lives.” “I would like to know what part of our lax immigration policy is considered violent,” Tancredo said. “I fail to see how accepting more refugees than any other nation –and providing free health care, education, housing and social service benefits to millions of illegal aliens is in any way ‘violent’ or ‘degrading.’” Pope Benedict XVI has made amnesty a key issue in his papacy. He met with President Bush, reportedly adding his voice to the open-border lobby by encouraging Bush to provide blanket amnesty to all illegal immigrants in the United States. At the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the Pope said, “I want to encourage you and your communities to continue to welcome the immigrants who join your ranks today, to share their joys and hopes, to support them in their sorrows and trials and to help them flourish in their new home.” “I am not taking issue with the Pope’s moral authority and respect his views on the threat of radical Islam,” Tancredo said. “However, it is not in his job description to engage in American politics.” Tancredo also cited a recent report indicating that the “Catholic Church…has been losing members rapidly -- as much as a third of the native-born Catholic population. Meanwhile, it has gained members among foreign-born (mostly Hispanic) residents.” “I suspect the Pope’s immigration comments may have less to do with spreading the gospel than they do about recruiting new members of the church," said Tancredo. "This isn’t preaching it is ‘faith-based’ marketing.”

Just so people will know - Tancredo favors massive immigration into the US by indentured servants. He wants companies to be freely able to sponsor immigrants with the immigrants only able to live here if the company employs them. In other words they'll be semi-slaves. We have a history with indentured servants in our country. When I was in school I learned that it was a form of slavery. Tancredo's happy with large numbers of immigrants driving down wages. He just doesn't want them to be free, that's all. Tancredo is just an actor reading his script. His job is to rally people to the Republican party. Then the Republicans will compromise with the Democrats so that an 'immigration reform' package is passed both bringing in lots of indentured servants as the republicans want and legalizing all the illegals as the democrats want. That way the Republicans can blame the Democrats and the Democrats can blame the Republicans - as normal. and our country gets screwed - as normal.

I do have a problem with the NAU, I just don't dehumanize rank and file Mexicans. They are people, and pawns too.
When I lived in San Diego I spent much of my free time partying in Baja, as did about 90% of Southern California (embellishment). I usually had a great time and witnessed the Mexicans putting up with the whole lot of us belligerent, arrogant and drunken Americans ... for a buck. On Friday afternoons the line of cars going into Tijuana was huge, as was the line coming out on Sunday afternoon. The important issue is that for the most part the mexicans were very nice people. What needs to be done at the border in my opinion is respectful modernization that works for people on both sides of the border. People could work this out but the government can't because of the commercial nature of our legal system and the fact that the federal scumbags want everyone enslaved through commercial law because that's all of the legal authority that they have and the corporations that they represent want slaves, whether American or Mexican. You're right ... they're pawns too. That doesn't mean we can allow our entire infrastructure to be torn down to facilitate them. There is a humane means of achieving satisfactory results for everyone but the politicals and the corporate slave masters are impeding a just solution.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Whether we like Tancredo or not is irrelevant to the issue at hand. The flood of illegals is sponsored by the Vatican and has been from the start. Faith based marketing has less to do with this invasion than the complete takeover of the nation by the Vatican, that may be the covert ruler through proxies. The Trans-Texas Corridor and NAU is legally represented by a firm that has Rudy Giulani as a partner. He's Catholic. CINTRA is owned by the King of Spain, a nation that's 70% Catholic and building the invaders highway. And now the Pope using his Catholic influence and powerful guilt machine known as the Roman Catholic Church wants to give the already guilt ridden white American an overdose by instilling additional guilt in the Catholic masses that have been pre-brow beaten as children in Catholic Schools. This is the 21st Century Bolshevik Revolution.

I worked in the reforestation industry after my first enlistment in the U.S. Army and after the second one. I went from a 15-18 dollar an hour job to 11-13 and then my company went out of business as the Mexican labor influx swamped me out of work. I have planted trees and fought fires elbow to elbow with Mexicans. I learned their general collective flaws and graces, and on the whole I like them as a people. But the people who caused the influx to pit work force against workforce to add wealth and power to the already rich and powerful are scumbags who do not deserve their freedom or assets. I know they want Mexican and American rank and file people to fight each other as scapegoats and to leave them alone. I would rather see dialog and networking that would help people on both sides unite and fight them instead. It is human nature to seek a scapegoat when faced with a formidable foe. But we should bite the bullet and recognize that their money and power will cost us dearly, but the price would be worth it to take these people out. I am not happy and I would like to see justice done, and both people flourish on both sides of the borders freed from the yoke of these parasites that have only their best interests at heart. I hope this clarifies my point of view on this. I always have thought my take on this was simple and easy to understand, but this is a deceptively complex problem. Let us hope that when this is all resolved, we will still one separate countries, and both of our peoples won't hate each other like they were a variety of Israelis and Palestinians.
