I was in a room once with Buckley, when I was a newspaper reporter. He wasn't very tall, was scrawny and weak-looking, with a chicken chest. That was the first thing I noticed about him, and even now it is the most vivid memory I have of him.

It was about 20 yeas ago I saw him, and he didn't have the snake-tongue in the room, but he did have bright blue eyes, which I didn't know. Overall, I was repulsed by him, which was odd, because at that time I was a fan of his.

He also mentioned Americans had "better genetics" than Russians.
