The Obama Nation here on 4 will leap to his defense. The man could barbecue a live baby on National TV and it wouldn't faze them.

Well, there are quite a few more you could add to that list. Maybe we should just do away with the executive branch altogether. Let Congress decide everything.

If there were any limits on what our Government was permitted to do, there wouldn't be a need to discuss this. They have slipped the chains the Constitution is supposed to provide. If it were possible to put the chains back on, it wouldn't really matter who was in the White House of the current Three Stooges applying for the job. They would be prevented from doing too much damage.

Bring back the Articles of Confederation which had no Executive branch? We had about a dozen Presidents under the Articles who have practically become non-persons. The Fed Govt taxed states, not individuals.
Bring back anything with some ability to restrain an out of control Government.

The Articles so effectively restrained the central govt that the PTB got rid of it. It would take another revolution to bring something like that back.
